Well just as I anticipated Finished up a session of 1K hands and dropped about 2 stacks.... Standard as far as my plaing PLO goes.. I take a step foward then 2 steps back. Whay I really should do is just say fuck this game and go play LHE on Cake. But no, I fiure i'll sit here and keep smashing my testicles with a hammer playing PLO... Why? Simple... beacuse I know the players suck asshole and eventually Pokerstars will turn off the doom switch and I won't constantly lose to river cards.

Here's some gems, and I really don't want to hear a thing about the fiirst hand as far as how it was played. I knew he probaly had shit going into the hand. I had only 1 had to worry about on the river... Fuck him

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.25 BB (4 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

UTG raises to $0.85, 2 folds, SB calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3.4, UTG folds, SB calls $2.55.

Flop: ($7.65) [Jd], [4d], [8h] (2 players)

Final Pot: $17.65

Results

(small blind) showed [Th Qs 2s Kh]
Outcome: SB wins $17.65.

Villian here was a LAA player VPIP of 49, PFR of 30% and an AF of close to 2.5. I figured he can't get thaty many good hands.... In theory (whoever the hell came up with that idea) he shouldn't.... Not in my case though, at this point I'm fed up, tilting and on my 2nd glass of Jack Daniels.

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.25 BB (5 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Flop: ($5) [2h], [8h], [As] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $3.5, Hero calls $3.50, Button calls $2 (All-In), SB folds.

Turn: ($14) [4h] (3 players, 1 all-in)
BB checks, Hero bets $13.35, BB raises to $26.7, Hero calls $5 (All-In).

River: ($59.05) [Td] (3 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $59.05

Results
BB has 7h 3c Kh Kc (flush, king high).

Outcome: BB wins $59.04.

Granted I probably didin't play them spectacular, but this is the kind of shit that makes up the majority if my sessions. supposedly my opponents shouldn't have certain hands in certain situations all the time.... I don't kno wwho came up with that theory but they're an idiot.

Well tonight was the BTP weekly "home" game, I think I was the 2nd person to bust my AK against Seb's QQ all in PF. At lesat I didn't get my money in horrible races are part of tournamnts though.

Anyway I don't have to bitch about PLO tonight (finally). Was a weird night for playing though, I played about 500 hands finished up about 3.5 stacks and had probably one of the lowest VPIP sessions I've had in a while, just over 19%. I wasn't even being a super nit on purpose I was just mostly getting really janky cards. Overall though I think I played pretty decent, although there is a AAJJ SS hand I'm unsure of. Part of me wants to just shove this PF, but for whatever reason I flat called here. Maybe because I was upa stack+ and didn't feel like doubling up idiots who were are looking to throw it all in PF and hope they get lucky.

Nothing spectacular really, played about 600ish hands and wound up down a little less than 2 stacks... Guess I wasn't about to start a hot streak just yet :( ... For whatever reason I kinda played like shit for the first half of the session, and was actually down a little over 3 stacks. For whatever reason I have this nasty habit of almost always starting off my sessions down, and I'm not exactly sure why :? .

Anyway it's getting late and I gotta get some sleep, I spent the ealry-mid evening hanging out with an old buddy of mine. We got together I enjoyed a few Guinness with him and got started playing poker later that my usual time. But we had some laughs, he's also doing me a favor so it was time well spent. Ihaven't had much time to hang out with him that often.

Yeah you have some good points there SCF, I still have some problems I guess that are carried over from my LHE playing which causes me to sometimes pay off on the river. Only certain obvious draws I'm usually able to fold on. I don't know maybe the fact that I play so few hands makes me get attached to them more or something? In other words since I'm not involved in too many pots it makes them a little harder to get away from or something. It's almost like I have a hard time believeing that these people are hitting against me because I'm sticking to more stringent start requirements which has me playing less hands. And even the hands that I am playing aren't hitting all that frequently either, so I think I sell myself on the idea that he's probably making some kind of donk play, and "he can't have that" mentality.... Which is obviously costing me money.

I realize there are some decent sized holes in my game. I'm actually considering moving back to the $10 tables to work on my game more. Some people have suggested I play some FR tables for a while, unfortunately there's usually only1-2 tables going. I think I'd lose focus too easliy playing 1-2 tables of FR. I usually playing 3 tables of SH games now wityh some occasional 4 tabling here and there. Playing lesser amounts of hands per hour, per table (40 something hands an hr at FR compared to about 60 hands/hr at 6 max) would probably either be remarkable boring and or cause me to be playing more hands at FR than I would in 6 max.

Well played a tuny bit on Sat night which I usually don't play then.... $10 tables and won a stack... Then I figuered I'd try mixing in 1 $25 table along with 1 or 2 $10 tables tonight.... Lost a little less than a half stack there and about a stack and a half on the $10 tables.

This hand didn't help

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.10 BB (4 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

BB ($13.85)
UTG ($15.60)
Button ($9.70)
Hero ($7.65)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [5h], [7h], [Js], [Jh].
1 fold, Button raises to $0.35, Hero calls $0.30, 1 fold.

Flop: ($0.80) [2h], [7d], [Jc] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $0.8, Hero raises to $3.2, Button raises to $9.35, Hero calls $4.10 (All-In).

Turn: ($15.40) [6h] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($15.40) [As] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $15.40

Results
Button shows Ah Ac 7s 6c

Outcome: Button wins $17.45.

As much as I enjoy this game I'm beginning to think it might just not be my bag. I wanted to run it up a bit and then take some cash and get myself a piece of Cake LHE games. However I'm not really running anywhere... I was great coming out of the gate but apparently not much for stamina. I'll give it a little while longer since a few people have offered some help but I think I'll stay at the $10 tables for now and supplement my game with a little Cake too.

Hey Pokerstars how's about turning off the fucking doom switch... Just a bit during lunch today

Believe it or not I actually made a few bucks in this session, I just feel like bitching about these hands, which are basically standard for me I guess.

Results
Button showed 4c 4s 4d Jd and won ($5.65) with three of a kind, Fours

Outcome: Button wins $5.90. Hero wins $2.25.

I know nobody has AA here because they would've hammered it PF so I'm confident my set is good.. And I can't really fold for a doller and change in an almost $19 pot on the river.

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.10 BB (6 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

BB ($12.90)
Hero ($10)
MP ($11.55)
CO ($11)

SB ($7.95)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Js], [Jc], [2h], [Kc].
Hero calls $0.10, MP calls $0.10, 1 fold, Button calls $0.10, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.50) [Jd], [As], [9c] (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets $0.5, Hero raises to $2, MP folds, Button calls $2, SB folds, BB calls $1.50.

Turn: ($6.50) [3h] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6.2, Button calls $6.20, BB folds.

The size of the pot I lost isn't the point here.....It's more the principle of the matter

UTG has Ts 2h 9d Th (flush, queen high).

I'm getting tired about whining about PLO (as I'm sure anyone who might be reading this is also tired of hereing as well).. So my plan tonight is to probably hit up Cake for a little while and maybe grind some LHE games there.
