A quick post while I wait for my ride to the emergency care center for treatment of a cut that promises to leave a decent scar - cleaning my cutting board, I had carelessly left my 7" Santuko with the handle setting off the end of the counter. I hit the end of it with the cutting board, it flipped up, blade side against the outside of my left pinky below the first knuckle. It is deep and it hurts, but at least I keep my knives very sharp so it is a clean cut. I have irrigated it and shaved all the hair away. Doc should be able to stitch it up nicely. . . but it hurts.

I cleared the River Belle bonus before this little mishap, waiting for it to be credited. Sadly, my 24h bonus will not arrive in my cashier until May 7. It was 30 days to clear, but paid after 60 days from sign-up.

I'll find the next site to whore this evening after a few stiches and probably some Vicodin. . . .

Ok. Hunt and peck pretty much sucks as typing methods go. MVP was right - it was years before I was seen in the emergency care. The cut had already closed. The doctor asked me how I cared for it, and checked range of motion for tendon damage and whatnot, and finding no problem other than a cut to the bone that was already beginning to heal, then glued it, splinted it, gave me a tetnus shot, and I was out. Keep it clean, dry, and don't move it for 3 days. Only need to go back if I get infection or gangrene or something. Apparently I should have gone to med school instead of law school.

Typing with one hand sucks.

I settled on Noble Poker as my next whore spot. Signed up through Pokeroffice to get a free registration code. Funny how PT does not work at iPoker, but Poker Office does. It should be interesting learning the ins and outs of poker office. My trial expired, but I am close to the 800 stars needed to get the registration key.

Nasty fleshwound stich-up, except that they used glue instead of stitches. Good thing I keep my knives razor sharp. . . .

let me look over the section of optimal bluffing freq in ToP, but iirc, it's mostly a mathematical concept revolving around pot size. this kind of thinking has little value if villain will not fold (why bluff? just value bet made hands). furthermore, you can bluff MUCH more than is theoretically optimal if people are WT and will fold to aggression.

i imagine that sklansky made some kind of caveat for playing against these kinds of players, but the core of the optimal bluffing freq is based on pot odds (again, iirc), and there are plenty of LHE players who DON'T make decisions consciously or subconsciously based on pot size and pot odds.
