Well the game consisted of me, 1 other good player, and a bunch of bad hold em players and TERRIBLE omaha/8 players. Of course I ended up dropping $1015.


The other good player was also quite young, VERY hideous looking, and he had the most amazing looking girlfriend. Kid had like $13,000 in his pocket, I guess that helps.


Bunch of bullshit happend. QQ? Flop is AK5. Nut low and a flush draw? Well how about we throw an ace on the turn and your low now loses to fucking 64JQ. Etc. Etc. Omaha/8 can be a very frustrating game, but if you're hitting hands you can win obscene amounts of money. As I was getting beat up I picked up AQT4 double suited like UTG+1 or UTG+2. I almost called. I said "I'm gonna pride myself by doing the same thing Chip Reese would do here." I took a deep breath and mucked it like I knew I should.

Soooooooooooo, I talked Lee into playing the satellite for the main event. It's $50 with rebuys and addons. Started with 8 tables. Top two get $5000 seats, third place gets $50.

Fast forward to the final table and Lee and I are both there. I believe we were the top two stacks, if we weren't we were awfully close. To make a long story short we both busted . I just went card dead and shoved with QJ, lost, then I was forced all in in the BB (more or less) with T6o against the SBs Ax. Then its 4 handed, folds to the Lee in the SB, he shoves with like 5ish BBs and then the BB wakes up with aces. GG us.
