Sorry to sound like an old man (I am only 25 though), but these goals and aims of you, Xaston, seem childish. Being good in poker is a tool, not an aim.
A man should have something in his soul (brain), that is greater than him, more important than his desires and wishes to be a man. All the great people, I know of, had these features in common, were it a belief in God,( and a wish to best follow his direction), or were it a belief in science, nature, hummankind, his country. (In short, there were ideas for which they were ready to sacrifice their lives.)
A man who thinks only about himself, about the attention he gets etc, would never get past a mere success in the scale of eternity.
