Then in the party one I got spanked a bit but made a real nice recovery and was chipping up a ton, stealing blinds almost at will. Then I got 88 in MP, made it 1000 to go with 200/400 blinds. BB called and the flop was 256 with 2 clubs. I decided that since I'd been raising so much and was yet to be tested that I wanted to play a big pot and feign some weakness so I tossed out merely a 1000 chip bet and he thought for a while and shoved all in. He had AT of clubs, ship a club, nh gg.
I was also able to drop ~$400 at a $10/$20 shorthanded table on stars by simply getting in 3 bets pre flop with AK vs. Ax 1283 times, then having them flop an X while I pick up a gutshot or a nut flush draw or both and put in just the right amount of bets after the flop and never get there.
