I played for the first time in a week or so live yesterday. I felt a lot better than I did in Vegas, I think a little more than a week off of serious poker was enough to let me get over my burnout.

Anyways a pretty short session. I played 2/5 NL at the Village club in Chula Vista. Very loose crazy table. I really didnt get anything to play. I folded lot, finally I got A9d on the button. 4 limpers in front, I call. BB min raises. Everyone calls. Flop is K93 with 2 diamonds. BB bets out $20. 1 other player calls, so I call. Turn is a blank 8. BB bets $50, pot is over $100 so I call. Jd on the river he pushs all in I call his $150. Turn over the nuts. Then the funny part, he starts to make fun of me. He calls me a fish and that I was going to lose a lot playing the way I do and on and on. He even hung around after he got up to make fun of me. Nevermind the way he played KQo from the BB, I am a total fish. The game broke a little after that. +193 in 2.5 hrs.

Personal note: I need to vent a little. My Ipod is broken, I called apple to try to figure out what to do. Well they have a 1 yr warrenty, and I puchased the thing on sept 20 of last year. 10 days past warrenty, the lady at tech support tells me that since it is past warrenty there is a $44.99 charge for trying to troubleshoot it over the phone. I just got back from the apple store, where they told me that what is happening is a common problem with my generation Ipod, it cant see the hard driver for some reason. The cost to fix it is $290, of course I paid $200 for it new. The guy at the apple store tried to sell me a new one LOL. I guess I should have known better than to buy an apple product.

Rhound... although it blows you broke your Ipod, I honestly don't know how I'd live without mine... And, I'm the farthest thing from an Apple fan that there is... I've had mine for about a year and a half, and it's the greatest thing ever!!! There's nothin better than puttin your Ipod on when there's a couple jackasses blabbin back and forth at each other about how they are the greatest NL players in the world (Sorry Kenny) and yadda yadda yadda...

I played live for the first time in a while. I forgot how much I loved live poker. The games are so freakin easy. I played 1/3 at Village club. Solid day, $385 in in 3 hrs. Then the game tightned up and I decided to call it a day. I made a big bluff vs a nice old man which I half feel guilty for check the NL section for details. One kid blew about $1000 in a matter of 3 hrs at a $100 max game. I think the word for it was tilt.

Sunday night, played the usual home game. At one point I was up over $140, then i made a dumb bluff into AA. Went home Up $110.

Today was a nice day. Mitch and I played at the Village club. The usual 1/3 Nl game. The game started off pretty tight at the begginning. Mitch got sucked out with QQ vs J10 and J10 to lose the first buy in. Then lost back to back hands vs the same crappy player flush chasing. Then the fun started. Mitch doubled up with KK vs the same dumbass who had QQ. At the same time a new played sat down at the table who was agro, he raised 5x or more every hand. The bad part we he was two players to my left, so I really couldnt see any flops. After about 30 min of not seeing a flop, he moved two to my right and another hoirrble agressive player sat down too. First good hand for me, moron min raises to $6, 3 callers. I have AQs and call from the button. Flop is AJ4 rainbow, this is possibly the worst flop for AQ because all I beat now is A10. He best out $10, one caller. I call too. Turn is the Q. He bets out $20, I raise to $40, he pushs all in for another $60. I call he has AJ, and with a nice 3 outter I take a nice pot. Two more crazy player sit down at the table. This ahs become one of the wildest tables I have ever seen. Every pot is raised. i actually went over 1.5 hrs without seeing a flop. In one of the worst plays I have ever seen, one of the morons min raised to $40, then called two players all in for $300 with A10d. Mitch next gets QQ and raises to $50. Gets called by QJ, flop is J97. Qj bets $35, mitch pushs all in for $200 and moron calls drawing to 2 outs. Mitch doubles up again =). Final hand, i haven't played a hand in almost 2hrs. Finally get bored and get to limp from the button with 108d. By some crazy stroke of luck it no one goes all in. Flop is 88A, bingo. Agro player bets $30, I call. Turn is a 4 completing the rainbow. He bets out $40. I call, river is a blank. He bets out $40, I raise, he folds. It really sucks that Mitch was getting tired and had to write a paper because I hated to leave this game it was one of the softest games I have ever seen. 4 out of 9 players were ablsolute garbage, and the other 3 were total rocks. This was almost a perfect table, a bunch of players to trap and the rest were so easy to read.

Sometimes I wonder why I play online at all. I kill all the live games I play. Since the begginng of the summer I am making over $40 per/hr playing live which I cant even touch online.

Finally got a little time in playing live. I played my favorite 1/3 game. I played 2.5 hrs of 3/6 o8 before I could get into the NL game. The O8 game is really funny, it is some of the worst poker I have ever seen. These people are horrible, 8 or 9 players to every flop. People 3 betting with middle wraps. Well I didnt catch any cards and ended up down $110. This game is the definition of variance playing a limit game when no one folds.

Next to the NL game. Realy cold cards for the day. I played with Mitch, luckily he wasnt card dead. He has a really huge day. He bought into the O8 game with $50 and left the NL game with over $700. Hopefully he will use it to build a bankroll. At one point I went over 2 hrs without winning a pot. At one point I was down $300 at the NL game after I lost a pot with AA vs J9 where he backed into a str8. Finally at the end I got AA limped utg because I was pretty sure there was going to be a raise. One of the crappy players at the table has lost a big pot the hand before and I was pretty sure he was going to raise. He did raise I limp raised all in after he got called by one other player. He caled with AK and I won.

Totals for the day 9.75 hrs -$257

Played at the village club again. Nice rush to start my session, busted a short stack with TPTP with AQ. Then flopped a set to bust a moron who push all in with A high. Thne I caught a really cold run of cards. Didnt win a pot for 1.5 hrs and didnt play a hand outside of my blinds for most of the that time. Unfortunatly the table got tight and when I finally got a couple hands I got no action. I did flop another set of 6's and win a nice pot. Then I made a bad call making my two pair vs a flush and lost about $100. Kind of funny at the end, I raise with AA, and KK twice and no one calls. Then a little later I raise with 910h and get 4 callers. Isnt this a funny game sometimes.

On a personal note, I have always know that I didnt understand woman but this week that was taken to the next level. I was talking to my ex. I told her that I was hoping we could be friends, we had been together over 5 years and she really is a cool person. Her reponse was that she thought that the only reason I wanted to talk to he was to get laid. After 5+ years I really thought she knew me better than that. I still dont understand how talking on the phone 4 hours away from each other equals sex, but I guess as I said I dont understand woman.
