It sure does seem like I make posts like this a lot, but........here is how things have gone lately and here's my plans:
Since March I have done a lot of losing and very little winning. Part of this is sample size. I've done a lot of live play (but probably only totalling like 5000 hands or something terribly insignificant), and haven't really grinded much online. I've also ran pretty bad, and played less than perfectly.
For doing Roy the huge favor of being awesome at donkaments, I will be getting staked very favorably in the WCOOP.
Basically 4 things can happen.
I can do poorly (lose Roy some money, resulting in a net of $0 for me).
I can do decently (make back buyins and have a ROI of ~100% or so for the stake, resulting in somewhere a little under $5000 profit for me).
I can do excellent (make back buyins and cash for in excess of $25,000, resulting in > $10,000 in profit for me).
I can run like the hard2tel of old and profit one hundred billion dollars.
If the first happens, I plan on getting back to my old ways and grind 2/4 online (and maybe some 1/2 too).
If the second happens, I plan on getting back to my old ways and grind 2/4 online (and maybe some 1/2 too).
If the third happens, I plan on getting back to my old ways and grind 2/4 online (and maybe some 1/2 too)...after putting all my profits on black.
If the fourth happens, I plan on buying scarlett johansson, 8 umpa lumpas, and Austraila...and joining the live tournament scene.
I will provide updates during the WCOOP and hopefully do well enough to not kill myself.
