Well ok so I guess I lied, I took some time and calmed down a little and decided to play one more session before I went out tonight. The fun continues 136 hands without winning one and one more fun miracle suckout. I am now down $40 trying to clear this bonus, at some point it would be nice if I didnt get beaten every time I have the best hand. THis PLO game is showdown poker and there really is no way to win without showingdown winners.

I continue to enjoy banging my head against a wall, also known as clearing a party bonus. Today was the day of the bad turn card. In 560 hands I floped top set 8 times today and the board didnt pair once, it seemed like every time I check raised the flop I'd get called and then the turn brings the straight and flush card and I have to fold, this happened 3 or 4 times. I dont think party poker likes me. I guess even with all this there are enough bad players giving money away that I still made a small profit, Im back to about even for this bonus period. I only have 250 more hands on party, not sure where I'm gonna go after that.

I dont know if this is going to be a long term plan or what but I think I'm going to change it up a little and see how I can run playing heads up matches. I think I have the skills to beat these heads up matches pretty consistantly, and its a new kind of poker to to try to master. In the last 3 days I have played 15 matches at $20 on FT and so far I am 11-4, not at all a representative sample but still a good start. This last match was so much fun, I pushed this guy around something awfull. I should have Ko'ed him once already but he caught his 6 outter on the turn. The last hand was so much fun. The funny thing is I didnt even think when he pushed in I knew my A high was the best hand. When he checked the flop and the turn paired the board I knew I had the best hand. He must be cursing me something awful, if it had been me on his end I'd be cursing myself for bluffing a calling station.

One more match Vs a weak tighty. These guys are easy to beat but I swear its a freakin grind. Though its pretty nice when they only bet with a hand. This last hand almost sucked. I guess one good suckout deserves another sometimes. Glad I do get to win with the best hand sometimes.

I ditched the idea of heads up matches, I think I might just play those for entertainment. I havent played in a while other than a couple heads up matchs due to school. I figured just so I can get back to the suckoutfest I decided to play some PLO on paradise.

one suggestion, i would prefer you just call the flop raise and get it all in on a non-diamond turn. or, if you have a read on the player, if a diamon falls, lead out and hope he folds fearing you have the flush. often, the only people to call that bet has the same straight and you do have a redraw but not enough of one. I think having the possibilty of getting the same straight to fold or saving money if the flush hits is better than just pushing.

I have a 5 card redraw to the nuts with 2 more to improve my straight making the flush. How much bigger a redraw do I need to push it in here? Even if I am up against the same straight and a flush redraw he is barely ahead of me he still only has 3 more free roll outs than I do.

i don't like pushing a straight, even with more straight redraws on a flush draw board.

I played a $10 rebuy and add on PLO tournament. As usual when I finally make some hands and get deep its a bubble for me. 37 out of 279 top 30 pay. This players are so freakin horrible. My Ko as one would expect was one of the table morons. I was short stacked raised 3/4 of my stack after 1 limper with JJ109 DS get cold called by big stack moron. Flop is 448 I push and he calls with Q992 turns a Q and rives an overkill 2nd one. I'll post the actual HH when I get it.

I lost this hand but I am really happy with the way I played it. The stupid part is my bluff on the flop is by far the best hand.

This is a prime example of why you should never bluff a calling station. Somehow I end up chopping this pot can someone tell me wtf he called the flop with? I guess atleast I make a good selection of a good time to bluff.

Think I might still be steaming a little from that tournament so this is my last hand for the day. Tthe question is who is worse the calling station who calls with no where close to correct odds or me paying like a donk and paying him off when I know I'm beat?
