I started out OK when I won a few hands early,
culminating in my pocket JJ winning unimproved against
pocket 88. At this point I was up about $17.
Then the next 19 hands that I played, I lost. Nothing
spectacular, I was either flopping nothing or very
little, not improving, missing flush or straight
draws, or just getting beat. At this point I was down
$95.
Then I starting winning, and won 5 out of the last 10
hands that I played.
I flopped two pair and won.
I flopped a pair of queens and won.
I got a straight on the turn and won.
I flopped trip sixes, got a full house on the turn,
and won.
Finally at the end, I flopped the nut spade flush
draw. I had

flush on the turn, when the
came. I bet and the
small blind kept raising me, and I kept raising back
until the raises were capped. I had the best possible
hand and couldn't lose as long as the board didn't
pair up. The river was the
, and I won a $97 (24.25 BB) pot,
(profit $71). Since I had been playing for a while, I
decided to quit, and enjoy the memories of this hand.
I ended up $40.
