The main reason is that I like playing at Prima the most, but their $2/$4 is the hardest game Ive played, bar none. The $5/$10 at Prima is significantly easier than the $2/$4.
I have played quite a bit of $2/$4 at Party and done pretty well. I was trying to play it, while playing $5/$10 to make sure I have 3 tables going, but I didn tlike it. I was overplaying my $2/$4 hands because the bet amounts seemed small and I didnt give them enough respect.
These are all ideas that Im looking into though and trying to figure out what game to settle into next.
Kuso, a couple stakers did say they really didnt want their money back. I dont know why these lousy runs of cards always seem to hit when you least want them to. If I didnt have as much experience as I do, I would be convinced that I cant cut it at 5/10 after playing break even for a week. I think I may well have played the best poker of my life this past week.
I was reraising with T9s,
Limp reraising from UTG with 55.
I limped with AK...called a raise from a weak tight rock. Check raised the flop with nothing and pounded the turn hard and took the pot away from her.
I believe I made 2 obvious mistakes all week. One I posted already and the other I raised the flop with a str8 draw and flush draw, but the raise got cold called by the SB. The board then paired and I called his turn lead. That was a mistek because he may have had a set that turned into a boat and I may have been drawng dead. That cost me $100. The 2 mistakes cost me about $450 but out of over 400 hands, I was very happy with that.
The last stack I lost, I raised with AK and the flop was AK6. I bet the flop and got raised. I pushed in. Im still not sure about this one. He had 66. I think I maybe shouldve check raised the turn all in instead. That way I still get stacked if he has 66, but if he has AQ, he'll probably fold to either the flop all in OR the turn all in , but I get more out of him by waiting. I dont think I can fold that one with top 2, but maybe I shouldve.
