I do agree with MVP on the suckers part. Players are really bad on B2B. They slowplay a lot, but I dont see that as trapping. They slowplay TPTK and above.

After noticing I had more than 675 raked hands on Bet365 i emailed CS for the bonus and stopped playing. I went to Bodog and opened two tables, one $100 and one $50. promptly made $82 with a couple good hands.

I played near 1500 hands for a profit of 13 dollars!!! Wooohoooooooooo! Cleared the Bet365 bonus and had a 113 dollars payday!

I am declaring myself a bonuswhore. Now that I cant win for real i will chase bonus like there is no tommorrow.

I am dealt 55 in MP. I limp after UTG+1. CO raises to 6 and only i call. CO has 180 in chips and I have 122.

Flop. $12. Q - 5 - 2 all diamonds. I check and villain bets 12. I raise to $28. he min raises and i panic. think for a while and pushed. He calls with AA with the Ad.

the turn gave him his flush and i didnt boated.

HAND 3

I am dealt AA in the CO. I have 120 in chips. UTG raises to 6. he has $45 left. MP calls and I raise to $20. UTG calls and MP folds.

Flop comes with Q - 4 - 3. He checks. I put him in for his remaining $28. He think forever and called with QQ . I´d like to know what was he thinking....

Tommorrrow....well, I think I am going to Betfred but probably I´ll stay at Bodog since saturdays and fridays are great there. also, I will request my cash for points so i´ll have more than $100 to clear...

Hand 1... I don't really hate the way he played the hand that much... 90% of people aren't check/raising with a made flopped flush there, so he really can't put you on the flush (although he prolly should)... Either way, he has decent odds to boat up... There's a decent chance I'm folding to your turn bet, although you're still playin it like you don't have the flush, and are afraid of the flush, in which case, he's thinkin he's good... Not saying I'D play it like that, but I could understand the idea coming from a CS monkey...

Hand 2... When he mins your bet, you can assume that you have ZERO folding equity... This guy either has AdA, KdK, QQ or a flopped flush... I just looked it up on Cardplayer...

If he has AA or KK, you're a 65-35 favorite...
Obviously if he has QQ, you're f*cked...
If he has AKd, you're a 65-35 dog...

I think I would've just called his min and played for the turn... If a fourth diamond falls, you KNOW you're f*cked and can fold...

Hand 3... Bad luck...

I think I´ve never read such a sad journal. I think I should stop playing for a coupole month because now I just feel like chit and it seems I wont ever get a break. I have played 700 hands at Bodog and well, I juts cant win going like this. I have flop the nuts three times and all 3 times the pot was a split.

I have flopped a one set inthe 700 hands. I was in the BB, unraised pot. I check tryng to trap some money but they all check. 5 people check the f*cking ...! and when I bet the turn they all folded.

Here are the hands were I am losing the money.

HAND 1.

I am dealt AKc in MP. I have $118 in front of me. Folded to me and I raise to $5. CO ($74)calls and button ($150) calls.

Flop. $15. I bet $15. CO folds and Buttons calls.

Turn. $42. . I bet $45 and button thinks a lot and calls.

River $105+. . He hit right?. Damn it! I have about $60 left. I check and villain instapushes. I insta fold and he show me .


HAND 2.

I am in the button and was dealt . I have $98. UTG ($60) raises to $4. MP ($100 )and I call.

Flop. $12. UTG checks. MP bets $8, I raise to $20, UTG folds and MP calls.

Turn $51. MP checks. I bet $40. MP calls.

River. 131. . MP instapushes. I cant believe it. Want to call but folded and MP showed me KQs. He said sorry.

HAND 3.

I am in the CO and have AA. I raise to 7 after 4 limpers. UTG+1 calls and LP calls.

Flop. $25. A - 3 - 6. Rainbow. I bet $20 and UTG calls.

Turn $65. 4d. UTG pushes his remaining $40. I instantly call and he flips 5-2offsuit! .

Villain had been playing very maniac-ish and everyone at the table was flaming him. He had told me I was the only one he wasnt outplaying because I was not so predictable. Not that the comment or the way he was playing influenced my call. I was calling the biggest rock ever on that hand.

HAND 4.

I have $80. I limp in UTG+1 with 8-9 spades Two limpers after me and LP (or CO) raises to $5. I wanted to fold but called. I usually call with SCs but lately I´ve been trying to avoid high variance moves cause I cant hit s*hit. Besides i was in EP but hell, I called!

FLOP. $11. 8 - 9 - J. Two diamonds. It´s heads up. I led with $10. Villain calls.

TURN. $29. 4s. I bet $23. Her calls.

River. $$75. Another Jack. And the diamond. I check. Villain pushes.

This is the same guy of hand 2. The fush was beating me, QT (unlikely though), JJ or any J. I folded. He said, tough day and flipped over AJ.

I am just too tired of all this. I know it is impossible to win like this. It doesnt matter where I play or how. My luck is following me to screw me. I played at tone NL$50 table and got assraped, to use MVP terms.

After 700 hands, two tables of NL$100 and one NL$50, I lost $106.

I think I will go back down to NL$10 or NL$25.....

Saturday.

in terms of EV, I made great moves today. It just doesnt work for me anymore. I kept running into the nuts. The last hand I played, brought me down to 327 dollars lost and that was on two tables of NL$50 and one NL$100 . Amazing uh. Let´s see the hands I remember to see if ANYONE think can win in my skin:

i am dealt 44 in the CO. MP min raises. He is a decent player. Nothing extraordinary. we´ve been run over a friend who coulndt be more hot. In just a few hours I´ve seen him hit quads three times and all 3 times he got paid BIG time, including a 380 pot!. Nobody has been noticeable, so I dont know much about the raiser. LP calls and I call.

Flop. $8. A - 8 - 4 with two spades. I, for some reason, have been playing my hands quite aggressively, OVERaggressively I have to admit. MP leads for 7. LP calls and I raise to $22. MP reraises to $55. LP folds. I have to forget about AKs because the As in on th e board. At this point I am putting him on AA but, can I fold that? I cant. I put him in and he flipped AA. There goes 97.

Hand 2
Just 5 minutes before.

I am sitting on $78 at NL$50. I have AQd in the CO. There are two limpers to me and I raise to $3. Button calls and BB calls.

Flop comes Q 8 2. With two spades again. BB checks. I bet $9, button ($90) calls and BB folds.

Turn. $28. A. I bet $30. He calls. Is he slowplaying a set or he is just stupid enough to call his stack after the flush? I am pot committed now.

River. $87. 4hearts. OK. How much is he calling now. 25 left. I bet 15 and he instapushes. Hell, he was slowplaying the set, right. I HAVE to call. He shows 44 and takes it down . OMG!!! WTF is wrong with me?

I was OOP and it sucks! because the way he was playing it, it was like many morons play sets even on that kind of board.


HAND 3,4 and 5.

This one happened three times to me. THREE! Beilieve it! Two of them with full stacks (62 and 45) and the other with 39.

I am MP with 66. One limper to me. I limp. CO raises to 2. UTG+1 calls and I call.

Flop $7. 4-5-6. Rainbow. I lead with 3.5 (looking for a raise). CO raises to $18
. The guy should have gone nuts with AA, right? I put him in for his remaining $24) He calls and shows 7-8diamonds. I didnt improve.

-The same happened two times. Carbon Copied. I had 99 and cold callled. Flop came 7-8-9. I lead he raises, I reraises he pushes and I call. He Has JT. I dont improve.



HAND 6

I am dealt AKs in the CO I have 210 (stacked a guy with AA. he went nutso with KQsuited). I raised to 5.75 after one limper. Button calls (this is the luckiest guy I have seen, the one I mentioned above. He is prolly a solid player but with the amount of great hands he´s been getting it is kind of hard to tell...) He has a monster 490 stack. He calls and MP calls.

FLOP. $16. 4 - 8 - K. 48d. MP checks. I bet $15. Button calls. MP calls. Uhm. I dont like it.

Turn. $59. Ah. I bet $50. Dont know if I did it right again but I know at least one of them is chasing the flush. Button calls. SIGHS and MP folds.

At this point, I just dont belive he has a set. I have been paying attention to this guy and he hammers the pot HARD when he has it. He told me, as IS right, that they keep calling anyway so why not overbet with the good?.

River. 6d. URRRRRRRRRRGGG. I check and he instapushes. I think. I cant call $150 on that board. Not to this guy. He´s won 80% of showdowns in the last 800 hands. He told me that when I asked him and I had played the last 300 hands with him and I really thin he is above 80%.

I am thinking and he says: -"So, you dont have the flush. I´ll show it to you.". I fold and he shows AKd.

I lost a thousand of hands like that. Without even going to the showdown when the obvious scare card hit. Many of these hands I was i position and was led into.

Just tell me if YOU would have saved some money on these hands. I am frustrated. this been going for over a month now. Should be near 15-20K hands.

I played 895 hands today and the best hand I showed at SD was top two pairs AQ. I did flop a str8 and everybody folded I flopped a set of aces and everybody folded. I won only 40% of showdowns.

I might need another 15 days break.

We're in the same boat there sonny.... I got set over setted turned boat over boated w/ 77 calling a raise from QQ on a Q74 board... I ran top 2 into a set... I ran a set of aces into a turned gutshot str8... Just a nice hard anal pounding all around...

As for your hands... Hands 1, 2, and 6 are just BRUTAL... I guess on 6 at least, he was freerollin ya, if that makes you feel any better... I need to learn to stay AWAY from the really good players, of which there aren't many...

on the set v. str8 hands... There just HAS to be a better way to play it... If he leads into you and you have top set, maybe call and CRallin a safe turn...??? I guess you said they flopped em against ya... But, still, it just seems like with those hands, you're puttin your money in with the worst of it too often, with absolutely no folding equity... But, you prolly shouldn't be takin advice from me, since I'm down about 17k since Dec. 15...

I just cant reember hor much I´ve lost. My bankroll is at 4700of which 2K are not available to play. So there are 2.7K still.

I think I am thinking too much about the money and that is not helping me. I can belive I havent quit already. I really have faith in my game.

About the str8 hands, I just dont like to slowplay and let JJ, QQ, or 88, 44 outdraw me cheaply. Dont you think so? Besides, with the kind of playing I have seen lately. It is more likely that they have overpairs than the mortal n uts. I am getting assraped when I have sets. >I just thionk there are too many bad players playing second pair like it is the nuts to let go a set.

I will pass christmass eve on my father´s house. I just dont know if I´ll be coming tonight just because I´ll be tempted to play since I dont have anything else to do here. My sister even forgot to pay the cable and when i call them to pay and have he services restored they have collective vacations untill monday .

I really don't KNOW how to play those set v. str8 hands, except to say that, if you can tell that he's not letting go of whatever the balls it is he has, you may wanna slow down a little and see what happens from there... For example, if you have 99 on the 789 hand, and are almost sure that he has JJ and WON'T let it go, there's not a real risk to slowing down... If he's gonna call you down no matter WHAT, you may as well see the turn at least and see if a T turns, which would send out the ole "AHHHHH F*CK!!!!" in your mind... Not saying that I'd do it, but if I just get crammed over and over by the same thing, I may think about changin my style up a little temporarily...

I am back!! Kind of late but, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

Today I went to get the $100 bonus from empire. Decided to play NL$50 until the assrapings stop.

I played 1259 hands.
Won: $178

That is 13+PTBB/100. I was playing mostly 6 max and I have to say those guys are the worse! That win rate IS sustainable at those tables. I was getting a few hands and they pay me off. My reads were amazing but it was due to the fact most players were too damned predictable.

I also have 840/1000 raked hands for the $100 bonus.

My goal for the month is to be confident again to play NL$100 and play 10K hands there with a decent winrate so I can play NL$200 in feb or before.

I will follow the trend of goals declaration for the year:

1.-Get the bankroll to $20K to accomplish the goal stated at this journal´s title.
2.-Make more than $5K/month playing poker .
3.-Learn to play MultiTable Tornaments.

I just have doubts about actually playing NL$1000. I am pretty confident I will get to 20K, because even playing NL$50 I might be able to do it.

Point 2...well, I am playing. We´ll see. In fact, That is my economic goal for the year. I am into some other things that should help me get there but I think I can achieve that with poker only.

3.- Well, MTT is something I really liked. I havent played many. In fact, I have only played freerolls but i enjoyed them a lot. Besides there´s were the glory is . I will get a few books on the subject and I guess I will invest some money on them and we´ll see how it goes.

Point 3 is on the list just to make it longer, because that is something I´ve been wanting to do but not something I feel I HAVE to do. 1 n 2 are the challenges for me!
