Firstly - I have been playing online poker for just over a year and recently went broke. I was quite succesful at the lower limit tables but moved my game to NL pretty quickly. This was a mistake because as you all no a small error at these tables costs a stack. Also moving up levels quickly led to me destorying my bankroll.

I am now in the process of rebuilding my bankroll and will post my PT stats for each session on this forum thread.

I have not currently posted any of my stats despite the fact that I am doing quite well. I began playing 1 table, FR 5ONL with a bankroll, not really covering me for this level.

Over 17000 hands I was a losing player at 25NL. Yes thats right, and until I started reading BTP I didnt understand why. The reason - i was playing way too tight for 25NL with VPIP% of 19.

I am only playing 1 table as multitabling hasnt seemed to be working for me. I have opened up a little and the results have been good so far. I will post them this evening for all to see, but I do not feel to the need to move down levels at this stage despite not having the bankrool for it - the reason for this is, each table I sit at (probably cos Im playing 1 table) I come out winning.

You can easily make a profit at 19% VPIP...THAT wasn't why you were losing...it's making the right plays and having the right 19%: all 19%'s are not created equal

Any comments? It's strange also that I only learnt to losen up a little playing 50nl as opposed to when I played 25nl. I think if I did go back I could dominate the level.

Ex - i note that you're from Manchester. Are you red or blue?

I'm a red despite being from over the Pennines, although I now live in Marbella.

Appreicate your advice and have learnt a lot already from this site.
