EDIT: and I decided that discretion was the better part of valor (and unregistered). I think it is probably more +ev for me to play 10 $20 buy in stud variant mtts than the sunday mill.

3/6 in a stud mtt on stars right now.

Finished 3rd for $100 in the $10 stud tourney. Thought I played well considering I came into the FT 7th in chips. Didn't run as hot as the big stacks in a couple of spots, but I picked up on at least 2-3 spots where I saved bets, so my game is improving. Running journal in the blog.

Going to play a $10 horse tourney, then I'm done for the night.

Ran hot and played well the first two hours. After that, didn't run particularly hot, didn't play particularly well. I am going to review the HH and see where I need to be saving bets. I might email a few hands to ED and Piers to get their input, because I feel like there is a definite need for input from someone else at this point.

If I could find a coach who had a ton of medium/medium-high stud/stud h/l/razz mtt experience, I would think about that.

I also am going to have some non-poker related stuff coming up, which will cut into my poker time in the coming months, so I don't know how much time I will have to devote to poker.
