Did you ever take one of those dumps where afterwards it feels like you just got off a 12 hour night shift? I was just totally beat. Had oatmeal and some rough bread for breakfast which would explain it I guess. Don't get me wrong, it felt great, but it did leave me kind of tired.
After resting up some I decided to put in a session. I've played a sum total of 3 hours this month up until now and even though the results have been good, I need to start making some money for the summer. Started a draw poker table that never really got going. the players were really tight for once, so I loosened up and stole a few pots, but it didn't feel meaningful to play with such a small edge so I quit and started some shorthanded Hold'em tables to keep going. I also spent some time playing SNG's and enetered a MTT that I busted out of pretty early all-in preflop with AK against AJ. Most of the fun stuff happened at the shorthanded Hold'em tables though, with blinds $.50 and $1 and a max buyin of $200. I always buy in for $100 when I sit down. This is the Swedish site, so no PT available, but I will recreate the hands from the sites HH's.

One of my first hands of the session I pick up 33 and call a raise. Flop brings an Ace and a 3. I check/call a decent bet. Turn gives me quads. I check, he bets again and I make a small check/raise (it's a monster people!). He calls. River is insignificant and I am debating whether to make a smallish valuebet or push. I figure a push could make him fold AK or KK (which is what I think he has), so I valuebet half pot. He raises me. Huh? No... don't tell me... I push, he calls. Yep. He had AA. Off to a good start

I've got 66 in MP and open raise to $3, BB mini-reraises me. Bah. I decide to show who's boss and 4-bet to $18 being all macho and shit. He flat calls with his silly QQ, flop brings a 6 and he goes busto with his overpair.

I've got QQ in the small blind. One limper, then button raises to $3. Button has raised several hands since I sat down so I'm thinking he's pretty loose preflop, he also seems aggro postflop. I re-raise to $10, limper gets out of the way and it is heads up.
Flop comes all rags and pot has $22 in it. With no draw out I decide to make a very small bet to intduce a bluff. I bet $5 and he promptly raises to $12, I re-raise to $22. He thinks and calls.
Turn is an off suit deuce, I make a small bet again, $6 and he just calls. River is a queen giving me the 3:d nuts, 64 and A4 actually beat me. I push, he calls and mucks.

CO open raises to $4, SB calls and I call in the BB with 66. SB is short with $70, CO has a bit over $160 and I have them covered.
Flop comes 86Q with two clubs. SB leads out $5 into the $12 pot, I pop it to $20. Co and small blind calls. Ok. Hmm..
I'm fairly sure SB has a draw or TP hand, but what does CO have? My range for him is KQ, AQ, QQ, KK and AA. Maybe AKs. Maybe JJ. Pretty wide. Anyway I am only behind to one hand.
Turn is a brick and SB checks, I bet $39 which is 2/3 pot. CO flat calls again and SB now pushes his last chips in, I call (only $2 more so no reopened betting). As do CO of course.
River is the case 6 giving me the quadzor nutz0r. I pushy-pushy, It's $75 to him. He tanks. Clock almost runs out. Suprise!! He was slowrolling QQ for the nut full! Well joke's on him obviously. I say "Nice slowroll, moron" and he leaves.

Loose guy on the right who beat me in a decent sized pot just before this raises to $3. He makes a lot of small raises preflop. I call on the button with 78s and BB comes along.
Flop comes 378 with a heart draw. BB checks and he leads for $5 (he underbets often). I raise to $19 and he calls. Turn is another 8, he leads into me again for $7 this time. I raise to $36, he re-raises to $76, I push, he calls. He has
and misses, I drag a $260 pot. The best thing. I reloaded to 200bb just before this hand happened to cover him.

UTG limps and it is folded to me in the SB. I have QQ and raise to $5. Now UTG mini-re-raises me. Hmpf. This is very often AA/KK so I just call to see a flop.
Flop comes J75 with two diamonds.
I check, he pushes for over $130 into the $20 or so pot. Wtf? I tank for a while but decide this looks more like a scared "go away" bet with a medium pair or missed AK. I don't think he wants me to call so I disappoint him and do just that. He flips TT and I hold up. Booyah!
I did lose one really huge pot all-in three ways with middle set against top set and some incredible guy who managed to stick around with a pair of sevens while me and mr Top Set were putting in our chips by the handfulls. 77 guy actually minibet the river, I pushed, top set called all in and this guy STILL thinks his underpair might be good and calls. Pretty amazing.
Can't complain about set over set though, not after having my lower sets turin into quads not once, but twice in this session. Dumped a few chips playing SnG's and a MTT, and my draw poker game never got going (won like $5), but ended up winning almost $600 for the day which is huge for me. Actually my best session since January 30:th.
I actually had almost the same feeling after this session as after my bathroom session earlier. Tired, but happy and relieved.
