Played in some more SnGs today as i just needed a bit of a break from grinding away at cash tables for awhile. I played 2 normal SNGS for $5.50 and picked up a 3rd place in one of them. I also played a 45 person turbo $6.50 at stars and after numerous all ins and lucky bluffs i managed to scrape out a 5th spot which paid $24 not to shabby.

Ok so i had just about had it with Absolute Poker, the amount of suckouts and just fish in general was really starting to worry me. Maybe i was on tilt im not sure.....actually yes i was defintetly on tilt and went with a f**k this attitude to the 2/4 tables. Bought in and slowly my initial $20 i used (which isnt really enough at all) was tapering away. Still had not received a decent pair of cards when i got AJs in early position-this is 6 handed by the way so it looks like gold!

Anyway to cut a long storry short raised the pot etc about 4 people called and saw

J Q 6 suited i bet and everyone called...hmmm

turn is a 3 i bet and all call.....(im thinking im stuffed here someone must have a Q or higher PP)

river a 2 (all rainbow by the way so no flushes to think off hmm ill just check)

another guy bets i call so does everyone else (i thought long and hard about calling here)

Im thinking great there goes my stack then suddenly the pot slides my way!!

one guy had KJ, another a busted straight draw, another K10 etc i could not beleive it!

anyway i stopped for the night there as i was on tilt etc i think the pot was something like a $60 pot which is by far the biggest pot i have dragged down. Anyway no more 2/4 LOL!!! gotta stick to that!

Also i read alot about bonuses that are easy to clear on Cryptos sites? can anyone enlighten me on these sites and the bonuses they offer?

weekend news.....

Well not a great deal of poker was played this weekend....i got 1 session in and was down about $40 then came back and ended up around $2 so i guess that is good!

I have to really start pumping hours this week and bring my A game..i am planning a 6 hour session tonight no excuses!

The positive i guess of not getting to play that much on the weekend is that i didnt have to put up with the weekend players either, so w'ell see how i go tonight! Bankroll still around $670. With things going my way i want to try and make that $750 minimum by the end of the week.

Tonight i am planning on some SNGS and maybe the 1/2 tables again. I am in a positive mood about the way im playing and in a good frame of mind ah well here goes!

Lesson 1

If you are losing it try to accept it and not just fkn go up limits to make the money back!

Ok so obviously i lost and in a big way! It serves me right really, because everytime i seem to get myself in a losing situation i find it hard to accept and end up costing myself more money.

Last night it was to the tune of $200...my roll is now down to a paltry $470 odd dollars and i am so dissapointed in myself. It was just fkn stupid and there was no need for it
why cant i accept a loss?

The good news i guess is that well im quite composed even after my stupidity i played well last night despite things not going my way. I got unlucky with numerous bad beats and other misc bad luck like boats over boats and sets over sets.

Ive decided im going to strictly play games correct for my level!

The good news is ive only invested $100 dollars in poker thus far so im still ahead on my original investment however goals like my $10K one just do not seem acheivable anymore. Im going to spend the next month playing solidly and try and get back to at least where i was. I think my high goals are costing me money as i am letting them cloud my judgement and it is making me think i have to rush things.

I really did start to doubt myself last night and there were numerous times where i actually got scared to bet as i didnt want to lose anymore! This eva happen to anyone?

Im thinking of starting fresh new site new players etc will keep you updated!

Quick Update-The Rebuild begins

Played a quick 1 hour session or so last night and thought i would concentrate on just the 1 table.

Not exactly ground breaking figures but i was just glad to come away with some confidence and i think that previous loss just did have to happen for me to come back to reality a bit i guess. I plan to really knuckle down know and just grind away for the rest of the month and hope im back at square 1 by the end of October.

Had to get up early this saturday morning and thought why not get up even earlier and take to the tables for an hour or two. Am i glad i did!!

Now bear in mind i only really have this particular session to go off but boy are the players terrible at this time of day! It was crazy, i am used to playing semi hard opponents at the 1/2 tables but this was a cakewalk. I should do this more often if this morning is anything to go by.

Like i said it could have just been the few tables i played at on a particlar site but the players were just plain shite!

On one hand i can remember i had Aces Full and a guy was betting into me, we capped the betting and he flipped over 4,10 offsuit...i mean WTF?

needless to say profit was made and im upset i gotta go out now i really wanna stay

Well the title says it all really, my first ever royal flush and boy am i glad absolute poker has a promotion of 100 x the BB for a quickfire $100 my way.

In other news i got up early again for these juicy american friday and saturday nights and my goodness they are juicy.

If you have a look at earlier posts i can remember originally complaining about how fishy players were on weekends and it really used to piss me off. Now i think i have adjusted my play perfectly to take money off these suckers.

Well the winning streak continues on its merry way! the roll is going along quite nicely now and im actually closer to $1100 now!

Im esctatic about how quick it has all happened really a week ago i had a gun in my mouth! (well not really but i was pretty angry at the world of poker)

Sat down at a 1/2 table tonight to start my session with $20 and walked away with $85 just with some good solid plays, then a friend of mine who is just getting started in poker asked me to play with him on stars in a 27 person SNG $5.50 i took second in this for another quick $30 profit.

I know that this has to slow down or make a turn for the worst soon but in the meantime i fkn rock! lol

Maybe ill revise my goal to $1500 by the end of October lol not really that realistic but hey why not!
