Well i have just about had it with poker and all the s##t that comes with it. The beats the swings the bs donkeys the whole lot really. I have suffered and suffered with the pain it beings and have made an executive decision in regards to my poker future.

I will be as cheesy, lame and downright pathetic and whore driven as i can be to grind out profits at this shit of a game coz it sure as hell aint happening playing the way i am at the moment. Im sure i can still make up 500-1000 a month purely from signups, RAF's and rakeback. To hell with playing higher tables each time i make some cash its whore central from now on.

Phase 1 of whoring exploits completed. Was down a bit at the start but managed to clear interpoker's sign up bonus of $100 and a measly $15 profit to go with it courtesy of some dude cappng me on every street on a 1/2 LHE game when i had quad jacks. I thought he had Aces full but all he had was a straight....? i love interpoker!

I am trying to find out if i can do this one again by simply now depositing for the monthly as well as the signup this month. Not sure if that will work but who knows. Next stop will probably be EuroLinx who have a 4x raked hand requirement going atm for around $250.

In real life news tonight the 'Crusaders' a basketball team with guys all from my work had their 20th successive loss, its been a terrible terrible season and to top it off tonight some punk from the other team tried to charge into me with his elbow he smacked my nose and well a push and shove turned quickly into me getting ejected. Ah i need to take my frustrations out somewhere.

On all other fronts well planning a trip with the girlfriend to Europe next year which should be sweet, going to go on a cruise ship visiting Italy, France, Croatia, Spain etc

Ah well should probably do some goddamn homework......maybe a few more hands first!

Wow its been like forever since i last posted or played poker really for that matter.
The good news is im refreshed back from an awesome European holiday and it has reignited my love for poker and im keen to start from scratch again with $25 and work it up to whatever i can.

I think this works the best for me as i need to ensure that im still learning the craft again as i go. The results so far have been great and currently im sitting at $125 mainly from bonus peddling as well as having a knack for those 45 man SNGS on stars.

I must say its good to be back again and reading all the journals etc, i see heaps of the old names are still here so hopefully ill be able to speak to you all soon on IRC or whatever.

Been having some mixed results in poker over the past couple of days including losing around $50 at AP at the 1/2 LHE tables and .25 NL. Just had a bit of bad luck really but i think i am alot stronger at the LHE really and some fishes can really get to me at the NL tables and the suckouts tend to hurt alot more.

The good news was in one of the AP satellites to get into the 150k guaranteed tourney i placed 4th out of about 34 and top 3 got seats to this Sundays Tourney. I ended up being the shortest stack of the 4 left and had to push when i had K7 clubs with the flop being 246 with 2 clubs i was called and the villian flipped over 55 and i didnt hit either overcard or the flush so i was done, it kind of worked well though because 4th picked up about 14,000 AP points and well thats nearly enough to buy-in anyway and i cant really do it this weekend as it is so i will enter that event shortly though and try pick up a result.

I have been happy for the most part with my play and im about to cash out of William Hill after playing the 5 hours bonus for this month. Bankroll still around $125 should be more but ah well.

Well besides doing some homework this afternoon and watching some daytime TV i spent a good majority of today playing poker. At first i played some hands at the SH limit tables on Absolute Poker but still couldnt get much going. I decided to try some $10+1 SNGS here as well and im aware these should be out of my bankroll range but the first one i played today was a 1st place so i ended up playing around 6 in the end with varying results 1st/4/4/8/2/1 so profited there.

Over on Pokerstars i played in a satellite to make the next stage of a WSOP qualifier with no luck and also tried the $5 rebuy tourney which had over 2000 entrants. I went about 1/2 way in this tourney but never really had a big enough stack to challenge. I then played the $3 rebuy tourney and went extremely well. After a monster hand in the rebuy stage where i won with my KK v QQ v JJ i then won another similar pot after the first break where i had AA v KK v 88 for another triple. I was in the top 30-40 players for the most part of the tourney and everything was on track until i lost a few pots where i raised it up with a solid hand like say KQs in LP and got challenged and the flop didnt help me out. I find this is a leak in my game where i repop after the flop then get caught bluffing with air.

In any case after a gruelling 5 hours i busted 60th out of 2500 for a $50 prize. What can you do?

Hey All,

Played in a poker network league tourney tonight http://www.pokernetwork.com

with a buy in of $22+2 which had 59 entrants. I was a shortstack for most of the first couple of hours with my stack not really getting anywhere then getting a lucky blind steal or double up later to keep me alive. I had a few hands in particular where i had to go all in. The first i had A7s vs QQ and i thought i was gone until two 7's hit the flop. There was also another important hand where i rivered a 10 with my A10 v AK

These were the 2 luckbox hands and i did win quite a few with some good decisions like calling a shortstack allin with my K high vs his Q high was really dodgy but yeah it got there. In the end i made the final table and placed 4th. I went out when the big stack repopped me and i had A10 4 handed so i went all in for my remaining 6k and he flipped A7, ironically a 7 hit and i was out of there.

All in all a good tourney for me and heaps of fun. +$114
