hey guys

i've been playing poker for a couple years now and got up to playing 5/10$ FR LHE last year,
i've done well in MTTs as well but lately my LHE luck has been horrible...i decided to try NL for awhile but i really dislike it and would rather just play limit

so my friend, doctorhandles, has told me if i want to go back to limit that i really need to switch to shorthanded and need to get up to 20/40$ so that the rake isnt near as much as it is at 5/10, therefore tonight i am beginning my pokemon journey to go from 3/6 to 20/40 SH LHE by the time i graduate college in june

i'm pretty incredibly lazy so hopefully this journal will motivate me to play everyday and post about it often

first session went well, got 400 hands in, i just 2 tabled to start it off and played about 2 hours...also cleared 50$ in bonus, that hollywood poker bonus clears insanely fast

i just downloaded the pokergraphing program and it looks pretty so im gonna post them everynight to keep track of how im progressing

well today sucked ass, started off bad, then won a couple big hands but after that i couldnt win a thing...hit nothing and could not get folds from my cbs, it seemed that everyone could hit a flop but me...i did play through a lot of shitty hands which is a good thing for me because in the past ive had the propensity to quit soon into sessions which are not starting well

i think one of my main problems is making waek calls on the river when its pretty obvious i'm beat, ive made calls like this that turned out to be complete bluffs but for the most part people do not bet in situations like this without a hand, im thinking it would have been a fine call if it wasnt for the guy behind me, i wasnt really worried about him i just doubt people are willing to throw up bluffs with 2 people to act behind...if it wasnt for all the draw i certainly would have folded



hopefully tomorrow goes better and i actually hit a few flops

well today went much better than yesterday...won about 90$, could have been better but i went on a pretty horrible run at the end...finished a $120 stars bonus while i was at it, so even though im down a bit to start this journy im actually up $110 after clearing $220 of bonus

ive played a good amount over the last few days and am starting to plug holes in my game already, i think ive improved a good amount
