Day two at 6max was pretty bad for the most part. I sat around for the first twenty minutes or so and barley played a hand. When I finally started getting PP I was hitting sets on almost everything. The bad part was nothing got paid off. After an hour I was up $80, after and hour and ten minutes I was down $50. There were a couple bluffs that went awry and a hand where I flopped the nut straight, got all in on the turn to a guy with a flush draw. I lost a $140 pot there.
After that things sort of started piling on. I was getting played back at on every missed AK, AQ and basically every raise. I was down $125ish at one point. The rest of the day was pretty much chipping away at the damage. By the time my session was just about over I was only down a little more than $40 and had come to terms with a losing day. Right as I unlicked auto post blinds this hand was placed in front of me.

Normally I wouldn’t call A7s to a raise, but I had position, with a caller and a guy that was getting priced in behind me. I knew that if I hit something on this hand I would get paid, and I was right. And this may sound really stupid, but I felt like I was going to flop a flush. That’s right, I’m a psychic.
Anyway, I ended the day up $99.40 in 769 hands (also made $20 in bonus). I don’t feel good about playing long sessions yet in 6max. Right now I’m playing shorter times and less tables while I get a feel for the game. I don’t feel super comfortable quite yet, so I like to go through PT after each session and figure out what I’m doing right and wrong. Hopefully I things will come together soon so I can start putting up some real numbers.
Anyway, here’s the updated graph from poker grapher.
