Middle of the day update:

I set my goal today for $200 ... I'm at $140 right now and I'm seriously thinking about just logging out and vegging. I've never had a more swingy day. I ran up +80 in my first hour, and then was down -80 an hour later ... I then broke even. I then ran up +40, down to -20, and then up +60. I took a break ... experienced some similar swinginess, and had a $100 rush in the last 30 minutes. Signed out again to breathe it off. That's just the kind of day it is.

There's this complete lagtard at my tables today ... his stats at 6max Omaha are 98/80 ... I've never seen anything like it. I've managed 4 buyins off him total ... but there's been a lot of back and forth getting there ... I may just stop risking any more with him because I'm up. Is this a good play? Answer to self: prolly not. He's a donator.

So anyway ... I'm frazzled truly ... I think with the bonus I've signed on for I may be even closer to my $200 mark than I think.

The only truly and really important thing is ... I MUST BEAT OATS THIS TIME!

Dang I only won like 30 bucks today. And I get no bonus. But I am inching ever closer to my bankroll goal for 4 tabling 50NL. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

I woke up in the middle of the night and played some hands ... I don't think I was on top of things at all ... I got hosed on at least 1 but I'd have to say I wasn't playing well.

I was downtown this afternoon and found a used copy of Super System 2 for $19.99 ... that kind of made my day. I read through the PLO section, and I think I came to realize that I haven't been paying enough attention to position.

For today, I'm resolving to throw away almost anything UTG etc, I'm going to avoid betting and raising from the front even when I've got the goods ... and I'm going to try playing looser from later positions.

Trip report is as follows ... I am simply losing money hand over fist the last 18 hours ... I am seriously playing badly ... calling when I shouldn't be ... betting and raising when I shouldn't be ... actually catching a flop would be a nice change too ... I have no idea what the hell has gotten into me ... I'd better figure it out quick though cause I haven't run this bad in weeks ... maybe a day or 2 off is needed here.

I cleared the $100 match bonus at Nordicbet today ... 1500 raked hands took about 3 days to achieve at 20PLO. I guess playing 50 or higher I would have been able to do it in 1 day but no big deal. They only count a hand as raked for the bonus if it hits 25c in rake, so that cut out a good deal of them.

Anyway, progressing along nicely ... I'm moving back over to Bet365 to keep working on the $500 bonus. I don't imagine I'll be able to clear the entire amount ... (it's based on the same criteria, but it's a little less per 100 hands) ... I should be able to clear anywhere around $250-$300 by months end. Then it expires and I'll move on somewhere else. Sunpoker had a nice looking deal ... a $100 monthly bonus for members. (Every month.) Hmmm ...
