Played in the $5 5K guaranteed on UB tonight. Just took fifth for $234...here is the hand I went out on let me know what you thiink.

Blinds are 3000/6000, ante 600

I have about t31000 and the rest of the table as avg over 100K

I look at KQo in EP and push them all - get called by AQ - no help and I am out.

Don't think I could of played it any different..

congrats on the finish!

i think it's only natural to question your bust out hand, especialy because once you've made it to the final table, you begin to think winning is a strong possibilty.

With only 5 BB's left, i don't know if you can hope for a much better hand. Maybe an ace or a mid PP, but at this point i'm willing to take a shot and hope to get called by either a lesser hand, or an ace that i've still got live cards against. in this case you happened to get unlucky and get called by the worst possible hand (or would AK be worse...? i'm really not sure here). Either way, i doubt there's any other way you could have played it. good job on the solid finish

Well, no, you couldn't have played it any different. At this point its 100% all in or fold, no limping. At a full table with a short stack I will probably fold KQ from EP. But, you were playing short handed, only 5 people. Since there's only 5 people left and having such a short stack I would definately push with KQ. It costs 12,000 per 5 hands and you only have 31,000 left. With the average stack at over 100k its definately time to push. You did the right thing.

Congrats on the high finish
