That's what is great about poker. We all get to play our own styles and really no one is better then the other. Unless your playing like a total Donk.

Let me ask those of you that like watching MTT's make a note of the chip leaders in the first hour then look for them in the last hour.

This thread started about coin flips early. I don't feel you should get into a coin flip early. I went on to state that most of the players that have to double up early to last any time at all won't be there in the last hour.

You choose to call that last statment dumb. So even though you preach a different game it sounded to me like you were defending the early coin flips.

From reading most of your post it sounds like we play the same game. But I am not going to stand by while you make personal attacks towards me.

If it's the dumbest thing you ever heard then why don't you start flipping coins early so you can get some chips and start finishing better.

It depends on how you get into the coinflips.

If you are perpetually busting out with AK or JJ calling allins then there's room for improvement.

If you are however reraising allin with QQ and getting called by AK, or pushing AK reasonably shortstacked with multiple limpers ahead of you and decent sized blinds and geting called by the last limper with 77 whose hand holds up, then it's a different matter.

Pushng to take down decent pots early in MTTs when a coinflip is the worst thing that can happen is a tactic which has it's place in certain contexts. Calling when the best thing that can happen is a coinflip is not necessary to build a stack (though is sometimes necessary when shortstacked).

Massive difference calling allin and pushing first, which one are we talking about here?

(and if someone sees 40% of the flops in the first 2 hours then I know quite a bit about their game)
