This was a $10+1 Deep Stacks Tourney on PokerStars.
There were 1115 people in the Tourney and this hand occurred 6hrs in, which ended it for me in place 101. Had I won the hand I would have been in the top 5 chip leaders and would have needed only two more double ups to make the final table. I was playing pretty good and had played pretty solid until this point without needing any miracle hands to save me. A moment of stupidity and it was over.

I was new to the table and had not much read on the players. When he raised me pre flop I was thinking AA, KK or maybe AK AQ. I decided to call

The flop came and I bet out. Perhaps it was to small? I figured we both had enough chips and were still comfortable with the blinds that there was no hurry to get it in. So i led out and he called. At this point I was thinking he had a high two pair maybe. The chance he had queens was slim with the range I thought he might have. This couldbe wrong but figured the % chance would be worth the risk. That and perhaps i was just to stupid to let go of the hand.

I guess my real hang up was I figured if a King or Ace came out I could get away from the hand as it played out. When he went all in on the river I thought a person with a Full House would not bet that way, they would raise and want me to trap myself so I figured my straight was good.

Obviously I was wrong and just wondering what would have been the correct line for next time. Just disappointing after 6 solid hrs of good play and then i flushed it down with one bad hand. Since I dont want to repeat the mistake again what should have been the correct play?

I am thinking i should have checked the turn and folded to a leadout. Or barring that folded on the allin since i would have still had 43K in chips and still be in the hunt.
