3.5 times out of 10 you are -2000 compared to when you started.

6.5 * +2000 = +13,000
3.5 * -2000 = -7,000
Net = +6,000, divided by the 10 times you played it, = +EV of 600 chips.

This morning it doesn't seem complicated at all, I think trying to tackle this issue at 10pm in the evening after a sucession of late nights with a slight hangover was probably my downfall.

Basically this is a good bet because I am winning 600 chips each time . Plus in reality when I do double through I would make myself atleast an 85% favorite to get into the money in a tournament.
