Those who read my journal entry the other day will have noted that, apart from my usual 100 and 200 tables, I've been playing a bit of 50PLO at Party whilst I free up the bonus when the bigger tables are tight/when there's not enough tables.

Anyway, the play at the plo $50 has been so bad I've been quite amazed. Normally at PLO the lowest tables are really awful, but then 50 up to about 200 or 400 is fairly similar in quality, with just a few more fish in the smaller games. At party however, the 50 seems INFESTED with woeful players right at the moment, indeed it's probably as bad or even worse than gaming club at present.

Anyhow here's a hand I played today, I could not believe that I won after the river call.... Utterly unbelievable. I was completely shocked!

For what it's worth I think it was a good river bet as I had the ace and it was clear no-one likely hads the king flush, after the turn play. I had no idea he was so bad though!

My flop play was of course pretty poor but I did have (I felt) as many as 7 clean outs, though I also had the feeling I was ahead of the minimum raiser so perhaps should have bet him back to see how strong he was. Position caught me in trouble though, and the call looks rather weak, particularly because I can't put the min raiser on a hand. I couldn't really figure a better move than meakly calling.

Anyway the main reason for posting this was to simply say WTF about the river call!!!!
