Should I fold this high wrap preflop?

I was up a nice buy in after 20 minutes after the quads hands but slowly lost it due to being card dead and then the hands you see above to end down $7.

on the second hand, you might want to try for a ten or a queen on the turn to boat up, and fold if an ace or king falls.
It would depend on your read of the raiser, though.

Hand 1 - I don't like your flop call as you don't even have the nut boat draw. Your 4 to the straight is liable to be next to worthless in a raised pot with this flop, so you are calling a pot-sized re-raise to draw to 6 non-nut outs and one nut. Far from terrible but I think with short stacks you need to be a bit more careful here. Also, take note of the size of the pot - by the turn he will be able to make a bet that'll put you all in and that you won't have odds to make any EV on if you miss, so it seems likely you're calling the bet simply to boat up on the turn, and folding if you miss your probable 1 in 6 shot. Of course if you hit you might be able to milk him, but what do you do if a Q hits and one player or other leads out again? For me it's a marginal situation at best, I would personally wait for a better one with such a short stack. You played turn and river well.

Hand 2 - Good fold. Here you must assume you are behind, I think you can't even necessarily believe you might be ahead against a real maniac, it's far too easy for him to have a jack and if he does odds are he has a K, A or 3 to go with it. That means you have 9 nut outs and are drawing to something like a 22% outshot on the turn; with his re-raise he is likely to go all in if checked to on the turn, I would reckon, so you will get his stack in most cases if a Q, T or 5 falls. However, factoring in the fact you can only bet another $14 in this case (and that you might consider yourself pot committed anyhow, and have to put in with the worst hand on the turn) plus the possibility you could boat up and still lose or tie, and I think it makes the fold the best move. If you both had big stacks (i.e. you could match his $76 at the start of the pot) then a call is better as you have better than a one in 5 chance of getting a boat on the turn and getting it all in with the nuts. If he is a complete fool you could factor into it the possibility he doesn't have a jack, but I don't like to bet my stack on it....

Hand 3 - Yeah, I raise this. There's a lot of hands you're beating and which will call. I guess the big problem is losing your stack if he re-raises you, so the possible -ve implied odds of reopening the pot are large (you will win $7 if you're best but lose the rest of your money if he has 66 or KK)... However, I think just calling here would be playing far too scared. What on earth he was doing not getting all in there I have no idea. If you don't play your stack with quads, what do you play? That was his dream river and he played it horribly IMO. If he re-raises you and is truly a rock you could've considered dumping the boat, though a crying call is still looking OK at this point, his most likely holding would seem to be KQ. Also, if the pot is large and thus a raise on your part will re-open the betting for him to make a collosal re-raise, I call it down. I once called a single river raise with the top boat in a $250-odd pot once when me and my opponent both had $300-400 stacks. Had I raised him like everyone else at the table would've done in my spot, I would've lost 4 times what I actually did on the hand. Situation was slightly different but to some extent similar.

Hand 4 - That's a great hand preflop and no way I'm dropping it to a $5 bet when I have ten times that amount. You were just unlucky that someone had QQ and someone else KK, killing your hand. You played the rest of the hand fine. Both button and UTG+1 seem very loose and you should want them in your game.

Hope this helps!

If you get time, maybe you could post something on your impressions of the PLO games at gaming club at 50 and 25 buyins; I haven't really played below the 100s here but the smaller games often look very juicey. Keep us posted!
