I don't think you were coolered on either hand.

Hand 1
With middle set and a draw free (at least as PLO8 board come) I don't like the flop raise. Middle set at that level will win you a small pot or lose you a big one. On the river depending on reads I might fold, probably not, but it is a possibility.

Hand 2
I don't like the river call. I would be OK with it if the low didn't hit but it seems like in this case you are going to chop most of the time and you will be scooped more then you scoop. In my experience that river over bet is rarely a bluff.
