IAmABuggyBot bets ?

Opponent was loose passive, so a CR wasn't going to work. We both have double stacks so I want to build the pot, esp. if he has another A2, but obviously I don't want to scare him off.

How much do you bet here?

The right amount to bet, of course, is the largest amount that your opponenet(s) will call. If I were playing, I would just go ahead and pot it. The turn is a confusing card for your opponents, because it enables both a flush and a low at the same time. Your opponents will probably put you on the low because of your PFR and they may be tempted to try to run you down with a non-nut flush. I'll concede against some opponent a ~2/3 size bet might be better. It's a judgement call really. Just remember you're not out of the woods yet. Of course you want people to call (and the more the better), just make sure you bet large enough so that they are incorrect to do so.

JD is 1/2 pot your standard I have the nuts and want action bet?

What is the board is [Js] [3c] [Td] [Td] and you have [Jd] [Jc] X X. You are in LP, checked to you on the flop, you pot, and get 2 callers. Turn is happiness, checked to you. This another 1/2 pot bet?

Well, as with most stuff, it depends, but 1/2 pot is my general bet with almost anything, i.e. drawing hand on the flop, made low on the flop, combo, etc. Unless I have a specific read and want to discourage callers (i.e. guy PFRs and I know he generally does this with A2xx, flop comes 679 and I have a made str8 - then I'll pot it), I like to go 1/2 pot to perhaps 2/3 pot. I hope that the opponents that are paying attention will see this and have a harder time putting me on a hand. Of course, I am assuming that they are paying attention in the first place, which could possibly be a bad assumption.

In the case you described, yeah, I will bet 1/2 to 2/3 (probably 1/2 with the almost-immortal nuts) to encourage a call. After a long enough session I find that my busted draws will take a few pots here and there on the river with the 1/2 pot bet since it's seen as a milking bet more than a bluff. I also only need to get 1 in 3 of those to break even.

edit: I should also add that I will go full pot when I am reasonably sure that I am going to 3/4 someone and pretty sure as well that they will call regardless.
