I've played with the preflop raiser (CO) before and have notes on him. He's a muppet who now seems to have taken the step to maniac. Later he limp/re-raised me preflop with Q883 for example. He's been playing 70% of his hands and raising more than 50% preflop. Somehow he's actually in the black in my database which I have to assume is luck since my note says he chases gutshots, non nut flushes and crap like that. Anyway...

My preflop limp is definetely on the loose side but I really want to get into pots with this guy. I think people are tilting and calling him down with crap and I am trying to exploit this here. Good or Fancy play?

These opportunities don't come along often enough. When you get a maniac like this 'on your team' you have to look for more hands to play, but don't get involved in chasing draws unless you have multiple ways to win and the pot odds to justify it.

Everyone starts salivating when they spot these guys, and they will chase him down with junk, 3 bet & cap to try to limit the field, and you most often get enough callers to the river to justify the risk of being quartered.

Good play - keep up the aggression when you have a made hand, and follow this guy around.

Yeah, I certainly would have folded this hand if the pots are constantly being raised. If the table is loose passive I play this hand almost everytime

I like the flop play, but I would've just lead the turn.
