In loose hold-em games, the books I've read recommend playing Ax suited from just about any position - the thinking being that with a lot of people in the pot, you'll get paid off well when you hit your nut flush. Does that same logic translate to loose Omaha games - do you guys normally play any A-suited hand, or do you need more than that?

Next question - how do you guys play high triples in your hand - specifically AAAx and KKKx? I'm never sure if these are auto-muck hands or not... The thing that brought this to mind - I had two hands last night with KKKx where the case King hit on the flop.

You should fold any hand that contains trips in a limit omaha game except AAAx with a suited ace, and even that should probably be tossed in early position or if there's a raise.

Ax suited is a stronger feature in limit omaha than pot-limit and I would limp MOST Ax suited hands in limit, though having some additional features helps a lot. A pair above 8s or 3 sidecards that fit together in some way (e.g. something like A586ss) would certainly be adequate. Because the pots tend to be very multiway and you'll always have odds to draw in a limit game (unlike in PL), hands that can draw to or make the nuts are often slightly increased in value (Ax suited and high pairs being the prime exaples).
