I guess the main issue here is whether to call the re-raise PF. Opponent is very aggressive but knows what he's doing.

CO ($54.30)
Hero ($94.50)
SB ($298.20)
BB ($44.70)
UTG ($80)
UTG+1 ($123.80)

Preflop: Hero is Button with [Ks], [Kc], [Th], [Jc].
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, MP1 calls $1, MP2 calls $1, CO calls $1, Hero raises to $7.5, SB raises to $27.5, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $3.20 (All-In), CO folds, Hero calls $20.

Flop: ($63.20) [3c], [Qh], [9s] (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB bets $60.2, Hero: raises SPECIALDOLLAR6.80 to SPECIALDOLLAR67 $60.2, SB calls $6.80.

Turn: ($130.20) [2d] (3 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($130.20) [2c] (3 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $130.20

Results in white below:

Outcome: SB wins $130.20.

Villain has AdAs2h2s. Also the hand converter seems to have messed up the pot-size, which is $194.20, but whatever. Also, it's an 8-handed game, but the hand converter seems to have deleted several stacks.

P.S.: Is there any hand converter out there that actually works reliably? It's getting rather tiresome always having problems with this one.

where do you get HHs from?

i copy the HH from PTO, and it works fine at the neildewhurst site.

as for the hand, well, you have to think that you're up against AA, so the pf call and the flop call all depend on what your equity is against AA. i think you have perfect implied odds on the pf call, but the issue is whether you'll hit your hand often enough to justify a call.

Do you have a link to the neildewhurst? This was I suppose what used to be bisonbison, but they've changed it (something like flopturnriver now), but it works even worse than bisonbison.

I figure that in order to justify the PF call, I have to go with set (obviously), flush draw or straight draw--or 2 pair to the JT. And most of these assuming no A on the board.

I haven't played with this guy often enough to know whether it's a given that we're dealing with AA here. I think not, actually, but AA is certainly going to be in the re-raising range of most sane players, certainly moreso OOP.

Odds are about what I figured, namely 62-38.

I think an important issue in this type of situation, though, is what flops are going to allow you to continue. When you take the odds, it's always for 5 cards. Then, a lot of the time, in order to actually GET these odds, you have to proceed on some hands where you're the underdog--just still somewhere in the 60-40 vicinity.

Wow, I feel a lot better after looking at the odds calculator for the flop. I figured I was still something like 60-40 underdog, but I'm apparently a 51-49 favorite here...

I guess it's 11 clear outs plus runner-runner clubs.

Now, you're folding the flop if you didn't have the big straight draw, right?

the link to the neildewhurst is on the left side of the reply box ("hand converter") just below the emoticons. this is an open-source development based on BisonBison.

as for the hand, i think this is one of those times that you have to hope for a decent flop and push and pray.

To stick: Well, the straight isn't all I'm looking for. I'll go with top set for sure, and I really think, if I'm going to call the re-raise, I'm going to have to go with overpair plus flush draw.

I guess it's not a mistake to fold it PF either, but the table was playing awfully aggressively, and I though this was a lot of hand to lay down PF.
