What do you guys think so far. I'm trying to play it like I have the nut. I don't think gofore has the flush but not sure about gerald. I think he would have raised the turn with the nut flush so I thought this might be enough to buy it/get cheap show down. Too little? Check/fold river?

I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't want to raise as so many bad turn cards could come but didn't want to let draws in cheap either. However, i decided i didn't want to get into a big pot right away and take a chance and call and see the turn.

i play this differently from EP. i usually want to CR the flop. if it checks down on the flop, then i'll bet out on any turn.

yeah, i like your read. i tend to call. if villain is solid and unimaginative, i fold.


hand 4

hhhmmm... really need a read here. i like the play in principle, but i know tha there are players against whom i wouldn't do it (they'd almost certainly have a set).


i think making good plays on these hands can make a big difference in your win rate. that being said, i think that you have to play the player rather than the cards. more reads would be useful.
