hand 1
on the flop, no low draw, no flush draw, and you have no idea where you're at. i hate my hand and pray to fill up on the turn. bet is ok at a tight table, but from the bb -- ugh, i want to fill up or i dump it.

hand 2
pop it and curse if he has you crushed in every direction. i'd be happy to get it all in against someone who pfrr me pf three times in a row on this kind of a flop. i recommend play a full stack, btw, although it's not necessary. a raise here with a full stack might scare the shit out of him. as it stands, he has the odds to call with a pretty wide range without fear of being bet off his hand.

hand 3
meh... i'm not so excited about this hand when mp calls. also, you should be the one doing the raising with this hand from the button -- that is, unless you had a good reason not to do so.

The first hand was the one I thought I was most justified in getting it all-in with considering the pot odds I was getting. I only bet because I had the overcards and thought that there was a chance I was ahead and even if I wasn't, I had a lot of outs, but yeah you're right, I need to remember to always take the 1/2 pot thing into consideration.

Hand 2 he had [9d][Ad][4d][2d]. None the less, I still had 48% equity on the flop. [Td] on the turn and I bricked on the river.

Hand 3 I guess I shoulda mentioned that MP is kind of a clown if it matters. I don't know if this is right, but I remember reading/hearing that it's a good idea to just call with A2xxs, A3xxs type hands in order to draw more people in. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe this just wasn't the type of hand I want to do that with now that I look at it. Upon review, I should have raised as I was OTB and SB would have most likely called anyway.

I understand what you mean about weak sets/trips and never usually play a hand hard with them, but like in hand 1 I thought it was an exception with 3 overcards to the board. I figured there was also a chance that one of them was on the low and the other had something stupid since neither was a strong player.

Others have elaborated on the post-flop play pretty well. Overall, if you're going to buy-in short you need to adjust your starting hand standards. You don't have the stack size to speculate on marginal holdings such as A3 hands or 23 hands (and especially not for a raise pre-flop). You're committing way too much of your stack prior to the flop with speculative holdings. You need to have a full stack if you want to play these hands. Otherwise, you should fold them all pre-flop IMO.
