This essentially became a Stud high hand on fourth street, and you never see any scary low draws out there. I'm not worried about the 44 once he checks fifth street and then calls behind. So I have to ram and jam, just exactly like you did.

The 5 gets a little scary on sixth, but that's not the time to slow down with trips. If he's got another 5, or if he rivered a very well-hidden diamond flush or big straight, I have to pay him off.
