They shouldn't care if you aren't on a same table. I once had a friend sign me up from his computer in another house for a tourney since I was stuck at work and couldn't. Well, Party didn't like that and now we have flags on our accounts that bar us from playing at any single table games because it has a record of me and him at the same IP. I called and tried to get it removed, explained the situation. Although the guy seemed to believe me, he said that the flag can never be removed and its policy to prevent collusion. Everytime we try to sit at the same table (mainly by accident since we both multi table) we get a message telling us we can't.
They say they do this to prevent collusion and people that know each other from working together at the same table. Doesn't it seem odd that people that refer you to the site are allowed to play on the same tables together since they obviously know each other enough to refer?
