i was thinking a bit differently -- specifically, the people who play will probably be slightly better MTT players. i think it also depends on whether they change the payout structure so that relatively few players get paid, although they get paid well.
fwiw, i chose the medals, but that's mainly because the freerolls are usually not at a good time for me.
