After years on Stars, i should be of more assistance BUT...what I do know is this...

they never expire...

ex is 100% correct-brutally tough to clear at lower limiits-2/4 limit at least or 200 NL is the only way to go---my favorite is the SNGs if you are so inclined, as it is a really good deal if you are gonna play 'em anyway.

Lately, I just do the deposit, wait a few days, and withdraw most of it ( I always have a few hundred there anyway) and wait tilI I am full time at the 200 NL games...

Omaha pots get pretty big too...

I will concur with the others in regard to limit in clearing the bonus. At 2-4 it isn't too hard to knock it out and at 3-6 and beyond you can burn through it pretty quickly. If you are so inclined it even clears relatively quickly playing 1-2 limit 7 stud 8B and I would imagine the 1-2 limit Omaha 8B clears ok as well for the lower limit bonus clearers as the pot only needs to reach 15.00 for a point at 1-2 limit.

It doesn't clear real quickly at the lower limits. But it doesn't expire, there's never a problem finding a game, so even if you're not a regular at Stars and play the lower limits, it's nice to have that bonus sitting there to work off when you've got everything else cleared.

And it is a sweet deal for tournament players. It's 100% refund on your entry fees.
