The Tribeca variance has risen and bitten my arse very, very hard over the last couple of weeks.

I won't detail all the bad beats I've had, mainly because there have been so many 4, 3 and 2 outer suckouts I have neither the time nor inclination to list them all. Getting money in the middle with the best of it hasn't been working for me, to put it mildly.

The situation is this: I've cleared the Doyle's bonus and cashed out, and am tempted to carry on clearing Tribeca bonuses, with the BoS bonus next up. There are so many (as Seb pointed out) you can make thousands from the bonuses alone at this network.

OTOH, this variance is killing my win rate, sorry I mean loss rate. Maybe I should cut my losses with Tribeca and go somewhere else? Back to Bodog for another 10% refill, even?

My BR's still fine to 2-table 100NL FR, so that's not an issue, and I'm pretty tilt-neutral too. I'd just appreciate some opinions.

Gotta have the stomach to play the variance sites...if you don't, don't. It's not a bad thing to not be able to handle it...it'll still be there for when you're ready Perhaps you should double your roll before you come back so the swings don't mean as much.

If you're hurting and tentative from it, then you absolutely should move on. I think those bonuses don't expire (at least it doesn't at Doyle's). So head back home wherever home is, stabilize your game and your bankroll and your confidence, and once everything is right again, then go back and give it another go.

No bonus is worth chasing if your game/confidence is screwed up.

I agree with most what everyone else has said. Basically, just take a break from the Tribeca sites for a bit. They'll still be there when you decide to come back and so will the bonuses. Go where you can win and feel comfortable, then when you feel like you're ready to give it another go, try it again.

There really are a TON of these Tribeca sites. Even more than what I posted before. Since you are in the UK, try PaddyPoker when you come back. It has a nice bonus that clears at about half the amount of action points as a lot of the others. Unfortunately for me they don't allow US players.

North... I had a similar situation as you, where I ran top boat into quads TWICE in a week... Just all kinds of molesting... What I did was go to Pokerroom, where the players are also idiots, just a different type... I find them less muppetish and more aggressive... So, I'm playin there till I clear the latest reload, then will prolly head back to Tribeca, kinda dippin my toe in to see if I'm still on the fast road to buttrapeville... If so, I'll go to Bodog for a week and then so on and so on...

In the long run, I don't think it's +EV to avoid Tribeca... But, like Kent said, the jackballs seemingly aren't going anywhere...

The reduced variance? Well that's why NL crossed my mind but I had a long talk with Palman and he basically told me to not be such a soggy vag and keep plugging my leaks and playing well at limit and eventually it will turn around.
