Just dropped $60 in an pol8 game at tribeca. i really, REALLY need to learn the discipline to stop playing when i recognise i'm not playing well, to stick to the one game and not stray from the strategy.. countdown is now something like $680 or so =\ back to nl50 for me.

Time played: 1.62 hours
Tables played: 4
Total won: 1.94

Countdown to NL100: $437.90

i played fairly badly and donked off about $30 with AA when my opponent minraised my on the flop which was 9TK, i dont know why i couldn't get away from it, i've folded hands like that dozens of times before..maybe it's the 6max donkability factor or something, i dunno. I got outdrawn a few times, like once with AQ vs AT all in preflop, he hits 4 to a flush.. he was only a $15 stack tho so that wasn't too bad. I hit my fair share of sets and flushes though which helped, and i think i must've cleared about $15 in bonus which puts me that little bit closer to finally unlocking it.

I felt like mucking around with some micro-limit tournies tonight, my god were the players bad =| The one I lost I tried to bluff someone off their set..whoops! I played some 6max and started off a bit downhill but I picked up a nice hand where i had 88 vs KQ and the flop was QQ8, so that turned things around at the end.

Results:

won a 1x1: 15 + .75
won a STT: 5 + .50
lost a 1x1: 3 + .30
won a 1x1: 5 + .50
won a 1x1: 1 + .10
won a 1x1: 2 + .20
lost a MTT: 12 + 1.20, went out 46/77 AI with QQ vs A5, he hits his flush on the turn then the wheel on the river just to add salt..
won 30.84 playing 6max nl50, 4 tables

Countdown to NL100: $423.77

Thanks for the word of advice BK but i'm fairly confident that I can beat the NL100 tables, especially at Tribeca as I have a ptbb/100 of about 6 there over 6k hands. The only reason I moved down in the first place is that I had a bad run playing other games and a bit at the 100s, leaving me pretty underbankrolled (i had about $1k) and whenever i took a bad beat or lost a stack at the 100s it'd get to me more than i'd like it to, and i found myself playing scared poker and not value betting when i ought to be etc..

Another reason for moving up is that it will clear the tribeca bonuses at twice the speed for me, which is a big bonus. I won't move up to NL200 untill i've made $2,000 in poker winnings alone though, any bonus money I make there can be padding.

Week 2 Results

Poker winnings: 209.42
Tribeca bonus clearance: 214.39
Total earnings: 423.81
Hours played: 22.47
$/hr: 18.86

Current Bankroll: $2070.25

I must admit, I cheated a little. I played some NL100 when my effective bankroll was over $2,000, i just hadn't recieved the bonus yet and needed to clear aout $15 more before it was unlocked. I played about 700 hands and had a ptbb/100 of about 9 which really helped things. My run at NL50 this past week has been atrocious and my winrate plummeted a lot, bringing my ptbb/100 at NL50 down to about 4 over the past 10k hands.

Here are my PT stats for my whole time at Tribeca:

Does anything stand out as being out of the ordinary or some small leak that I might be able to fix? I'm not the best at analyzing PT stats so..yeah.

I'm going to take a day off poker now, seeing as I have an exam to study for tomorrow. I'm thinking about depositing at bodog since they have their mutli-table back to normal now, i've never played there before but from what I hear the players are about as bad as tribeca, more weak, and this leads to high winrates with low variance yes?

Godlike, how are you getting that stat page out of poker tracker tracker? The export function doesn't want to work for me. Are you using a screen shot or something?

Thanks.

Yes, just press the Prnt Scrn button on your keyboard and then go into a image editing program, something like MS Paint works fine, and go edit > copy and it will paste the image there.

So I finished my studying early and decided to deposit to Poker Room and follow in Black Knight's footsteps with his "PP Experiment" going so very successfully and all. Well I booked an incredibly good session to get me started which involved no skill and all luck :D I played for about an hour and didn't really hit anything, then i got a couple of sets in unraised pots and made about $10 from each of them.. my AK must've missed 6 or 7 times in a row and I didn't pick any of them up with CBs, the other times the boards were too draw heavy and i was against too many opponents to CB anyway.. then I get the best hand i've had in a long time, which perhaps I should've folded pre-flop. [Kh] [Kc]. I raise to $4.50 in MP, guy to my direct left min-raises to $9 and the guy to HIS direct left makes it $20..I push. Call. Call. :?. The board comes 3K639 :D :D :D They BOTH had AA  which in all actuality gave me much higher equity than being up against say AA and QQ, only slightly though. So I tripled up there and ended my session a short while after. It's such a great feeling to get lucky every once in a while, it makes up for the bad beats..it really does :D
