Probably a bad card but would seem hard for me to fold with the size of the pot and how much he has left. Bet out and hope to push out the same straight or check call and hope he pushes a set?

In the first hand, I'd bet the flop. I really don't like going for a C/R when the hand is only four-way. As played, I'd just fold the turn. A min-raise may be a viable alternative if you can fold to a push.

In the second hand, I'd either toss out a blocking bet or just check/fold.

Hand 1 - I did fold and fetl really weak about it. I guess i should have bet out but i thought someone would bet.

hand 2 - He only had 8 left and the pot was about 20 so i just pushed. he folded. I figured if i check, i induce him to bet any hand so i might as well put the pressure on. I didn't really think he would fold.

6-handed i jam the turn. he could have a very weak holding here thinking you're on a steal. 2pr at best, imo. fwiw, i also tend to play these kinds of hands fast from the getgo for metagame purposes unless there is a LAG who i can count on doing the betting for me.
