PLO tournament bust-out hand

Postby Ojingo » Mon May 01, 2006 2:43 pm

Second hour of the $10 PLO rebuy on UB. I have a T5000 stack; blinds at 75-150. My stack is around average. About 80 people left, money is on the final table.

I get QJT9ds, and raise to 500 after one limper. Player to my left makes it 1500. He just about covers me. Anyone fold here? Anyone push? I flat called (after everyone else folded), which was probably the wimpiest solution, but I wanted to see a flop before busting out against AA, and felt the hand was too good to fold. Also, if I do hit a flop and double up, I have reasonable chances to get to the final table.

Flop: 479, two of my suit (to the Q). What do you do?

Call preflop. Easy all in on flop, either pushing first or call/raising opponent.
