Well, still no word from Kayla, although for all I know she is still at the beach house in Little Compton and hasn't gotten the letter. She has classes Monday-Thursday at like 8 AM though so I doubt it. Anyway you slice it that means it's time to start the quest for a $20,000 month via $400 NL.

I just put in slightly over an hour session and got my nuts kicked in, so all in all a shitty start to the quest. Here are a few highlights:





In this hand I meant to raise to $14 and made a big mistake (typo). This guy made the sweetest pre flop call in history and started building a stack. He played so so so so bad (as you can prolly tell based on his pre flop call in this hand).



I played pretty much every hand I could with him with position when we both have +$1000 stacks. I only made 1 really big hand against him, the board was 3467 and I had 58 with a flush draw to boot, but he didn't have a 5 or a set or anything so I didn't get paid off too much. Then this hand came up

And in our last hand of this post we were able to put in $110 pre flop with our opponent drawing slim and lose a big pot. Terrific.

Retard raises to $15 with A7s UTG 4 handed. I make it $45 on the button with AKo. He makes it $110. I call. Flop is K94 with two spades and he bets $215 and I shove for $273. Ship a spade BABY.

Hand #1) Why do you raise the turn as oppossed to the flop? Do you always do it that way when led into with TPTK or an overpair? Im not saying its wring, just wondering. Or did you do it this time because his turn bet was so small?

Hand #2) I realize the preflop was an accident, but you have to assume the guy has a big pair to call that much. Hes not folding a big pair on that flop after having over 1/2 his stack in already. Check/fold the flop.
