Haha.. Let's throw a party in here.

I played yesterday and made $35 in an hour. I didn't really plan on playing at all, but decided to try out some of the new stuff I learned in No Limit Tex Hold 'Em by McEvoy and Daughtery. For the most part, it just rehashed the things that I learned in other books like HoH 1and Learn From the Pros, but liked this book's player types better than the latter book by Phil Hellmuth.

I mostly just didn't do anything too crazy without a pat hand against someone I didn't have any reads on. Once I got a bead on their playing style (Passive, Loose, Solid, Tricky, etc) then I went to work and put together a few pots. I think this will help my game a lot.

My bankroll is around $2k now. I'm bored with online play, so I'll be playing $200NL at the Imperial Palace casino from now on. That is all.

Lots have changed. I never did start playing at the casino full time and pretty much played break even poker for about 2 months. I was at Bodog, so I didn't bother getting PT, so I never knew where my leaks were or even what my winrate was. I finally withdrew everything from Bodog and started over at Pacific armed with Pokertracker. I dropped back down to the 25s until I prove to myself that I can grind out a respectable BB/100. All this happened just last week, so I don't even have 1000 hands logged yet, but stay tuned. I plan on being way more active.

I just had a 110 hand session and played pretty good.. I ended the session down 8, but my play was good, I think.

I started off shitty when my TPTK + Nut Flush Draw lost to a flopped set...

Then I fought back to where I was in a profit for the session. My last hand was tough, as I got kind of trapped. It was just one of those cooler hands that you can't really get away from. The flop wasn't scary enough for me to yield and my opponents stack wasn't anything special. He had a little less than full stack. Oh well.
