All around great session at Party. I played for an hour at a $25 NL table and ended up about $40. Then I multitabled some $.50/1 limit to finish off the bonus and was up another $25.

So, clearing the bonus at Party,
439 hands @ $.50/1: +$14.80, 3.37BB/100
354 hands @ $25NL: +$61.78, 69.8BB/100 (sustainable? lol)
Bonus: +$65.80
Total: +$142.38

Not bad at all. Now to dinner, and then off to the casino for some live play.

Ugh. Live is rigged. I can't prove it though -- my sample size is too small.

Third hand or so got my stack in preflop with KK against ATo and 77. I lost the side pot to AT and the main pot to 77. Then I went card dead and bled off $20 over 3 hours. I just got sick of it and left.

Seriously though, I've played about 15 sessions at 40NL live and haven't won a big all in. Just once I want to be the guy with the big stack. I'm way on the wrong side of my EV.

Oh well, there's always Party.

Back to the $1/2 at crypto tonight for this month's $90 InterPoker bonus. Session started out horribly, and I was down $50 at one point, but then I went on a huge rush with all my flush and straight draws connecting, and ended the session up $50. Damn it's nice when that happens. I even cracked some poor guy's AA with AQo after a queen high flop that went runner runner flush for me.

I put in almost 300 hands, which put me above 8BB/100. Strange that I keep doing that well at rocky crypto, although tonight there was a huge monkey at one of the tables. Once, after I beat him a few times, I pick up TT in the SB and it folds around to us. I raise, and he reraises, and I cap. Flop comes JT8 with 2 clubs.

I bet he calls. Turn is another club. I bet he calls. River is a 9. I bet he folds. Silly.

Anyway, I'm halfway through the bonus, so should finish it up over the next couple days. I also made a deposit at PokerPlex so I'll get my PIN right around when I'll be finishing up that bonus.

Hey norton..

Whats the pokerplex bonus right now? I am tempted to give it a shot along with the other 5 cryptos I play but not sure it's really worth the hassle... Do you know if they allow £ accounts or is it like interpoker or caribbean sun and only $?

It's $50 for 300 raked hands. No idea if they allow £ accounts, although the cashier looks exactly the same as InterPoker's. Actually, the whole interface looks exactly the same but with different colors.

BTW - their ads are actually wrong - they all say 300 raked hands, but I've had my bonuses after 300 hands period for all three months so far...

God I hope it's that way for InterPoker as well. Over the last two hours it turned into a complete rock garden. How am I supposed to clear the bonus when 9 out of 10 hands aren't raked?

Down $20 on the night, mostly due to a set that lost to a flush and my TT running into the BB's AA. I thought he was just being overzealous because I had been stealing his blind a lot. What else is there to do when it folds around to you every time though, lol.

Up $18 tonight, with about 25 raked hands to go (InterPoker sadly is going by the actual raked hands). I think I've finally got crypto figured out -- after 7pm pacific, it's just not worth it. Way too many rocks like me trying to clear that bonus. :)

Still, I'll probably try to finish it up tonight.

Here's an interesting hand from the session. SB is 54% VP$IP, AF 0.46, 2.5% PFR in 80 hands.

Seat 6 is the button.
Seat 1: MP1 ($36.50 in chips)
Seat 2: MP2 ($33.50 in chips)
Seat 3: MP3 sits out
Seat 4: MP4 ($68.25 in chips)
Seat 5: CO ($21.50 in chips)
Seat 6: Button ($43 in chips)
Seat 7: SB ($14.33 in chips)
Seat 8: Hero ($99.75 in chips)
Seat 9: UTG ($51.50 in chips)
Seat 10: UTG+1 ($21.75 in chips)
SB: posts small blind $0.50
Hero (BB): posts big blind $1
----- HOLE CARDS -----
dealt to Hero [5d] [5s]

2 folds, MP1 calls $1, 1 fold, MP4 calls $1, 2 folds, SB raises $1.50, Hero (BB) calls $1, MP1 folds, MP4 calls $1

----- FLOP ----- [3s] [4c] [Ks]

SB bets $1, Hero raises $2, MP4 folds, SB raises $2, Hero raises $2, SB calls $1

----- TURN ----- [3s] [4c] [Ks] [9s]

SB bets $2, Hero raises $4, SB raises $4, Hero calls $2

----- RIVER ----- [3s] [4c] [Ks] [9s] [3h]

SB bets $2, Hero calls $2

----- SHOW DOWN -----

SB: shows [Ad] [4s] (Two Pairs, Fours and Threes, Ace high)
Hero: shows [5d] [5s] (Two Pairs, Fives and Threes, King high)
Hero collected $29.50 from Main pot

So, what the hell was I doing here? If I had gone by the numbers GT+ was giving me, I would have folded on the flop. But this is a good example of paying attention to the opposition (and the sorts of things you might miss when multitabling). SB had actually gone 76 hands without raising preflop at all, and here was his 3rd raise in the last 5 hands. He started with $40 and is down quite a bit. He was actually down to about $5 before he raised those other two hands and ended up winning both without a showdown. So it's highly possible this is the last gasp of a short stack, which it turned out to be.

Anyway, a nice addition to the bottom line.

Pounded out those last 25 hands to end up $44.50 at 3.34BB/100, plus the $90 bonus. Last time I was up $42, so at least I'm consistent. :)

Starstealer was at my table, working off his bonus (as well as the UB bonus, lol). We didn't really get into it though.

So anyway, that brings the online bankroll up to about $600. $160 is tied up at PokerPlex for their $50 bonus, so that leaves $440, which I think I'll use to chase the PokerStars or UB reload bonus, or maybe both if I'm feeling my wheaties.

Yep, all of those are on my list. There's so many bonuses out there right now, it's going to be tough to get them all (especially with the cryptos and their stupid PINs).

Cleared the $50 PokerPlex bonus tonight. Starstealer was right -- it's only 300 hands, doesn't matter if they're raked or not. I was up a whopping dollar on my play, but I was actually kind of happy with that as I was down $50 early on. Kind of stupid to be down $50 chasing a $50 bonus.

One guy in particular kept sucking out on me, hitting 2 outers and 4 outers left and right. After about the third one of those I tilted off $10 on the other table I was playing, which is rare for me. So I ended up having a rock solid image on one table and a LAG image at the other, where everyone paid off my big hands.

Later on at another table one guy got tired of my blind stealing, and decided to play the "I've got bigger balls" game, except that his weren't big enough.

Yeah, it was a little tight. Nowhere near as bad as crypto though, that's for sure.

Early on in the evening I was at a great table -- my first hand I raised AJ in EP, got 3 callers. Flop came 9TJ with two suited. I bet, 3 callers. Turn blank, I bet, 3 callers. River blank, I bet, one caller. MHIG.

Next hand I get TT and raise. 3 callers. Flop was QTX with two suited. I bet, 3 callers. Turn blank, I bet, 3 callers. River blank, I bet, 1 caller. MHIG.

A couple hands later I get KK and the same thing, except I check down the river when a 4 card straight shows up. But MHIG anyway.

So I sat down with $60 and one orbit later I'm at $120, which is a nice way to start out. FPP's aplenty at that table. :)

Stars is tricky. In the "check my bonus status" window they stop counting the FPPs you need when you've met the goal -- except that they leave it one short. It was driving me nuts waiting for that last one to show up, before I realized they display your current FPPs in the cashier window. I was over by 9. :x

Anyway, another 357 hands and up $12 to finish it off, making it 608 hands and $79 in winnings @6.5BB/100 to clear the $30 bonus.

Tomorrow it's off to UB where I can take full advantage of the $100 bonus, and I think I'll look into Pacific's 50% (up to $100) bonus as well.

My favorite hand from the session (I call this a "Piers" hand):
PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [5s], [8c].
2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls, MP1 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (10 SB) [5h], [6s], [2s] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds.

Turn: (6.50 BB) [Jc] (3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, Button folds.

River: (8.50 BB) [Ad] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 5s 8c (one pair, fives).
CO has 7d 8d (high card, ace).
Outcome: Hero wins 10.50 BB.
