Using this week's profits to buy a laptop. It's costing me 1100€, getting a decent one while I'm at it. I actually plan to use it next autumn when I attend lectures. Haven't done almost any lectures at uni during the past year cause I've had a job.

Gonna quit my job at law a office some time in the summer. There's simply no sense working for 9.5 € - taxes an hour when I can make so much more at poker. Quitting the job will allow me to both play lots of poker and get my studies done. I don't think I'm ever gonna use my law degree because I'm gonna make my living playing poker, but I still wanna get a cool degree just for kicks. Besides, I need to hang around the uni to hang onto my social life

Gotten 7700 hands done in the past 4 days which I think is pretty good. BB/100 = 23.

Had my first session of 9-tabling NL100 today. Only a brief session of 700 hands, but enough to see that the play is just as donkish as in 50NL. I was afraid the games would be somewhat harder but no way.

Got 1 stack when a donk chased a gutshot with a low pair against my set. I put him almost all in on the river and he still tried to bluff me for the rest of his money. Or maybe he thought his pair of 5s were good..

Another stack when I raised big with AK, some donk called with Q7, flop was KK7. I checked, he massively overbet the pot, I doubled his bet for most of his stack. He called my bet and the rest on the turn.

I am massively over-using every donk move in the book atm. Check-minraising with sets and other strong hands, checking when I'm the preflop aggressor and flop a great hand 1vs1.. I wouldn't do that against any player I respect, but against donks they work insanely well.

My great problem is I'm doing a boring 9,5€ / hour office job that would really like to quit right away, but a friend of mine originally helped me get the job, and if I just walked away it would reflect badly on her as well. Still, not gonna do it for much longer. It's major -EV to be working instead of playing poker.

I guess whether the connection is good enough mainly depends on the service provider and where you use it from. The one I'm getting is supposed to have a good connection near all cities mid size or above, but dunno how well it will work farther in the countryside.

Came back last night and played 3k hands in the last 24 hours. I'm really pleased about my play, as I'm 0.7 buy ins in the green after an insane number of crazy suckouts and unfortunate situations. I'm just happy about how often I've gotten my money in as the favourite. It shows I'm totally owning the level I'm playing at. Just grinding it up to have a good BR to move to the next level.
