Well achieved the main goal i was looking for last night when i hit 2k. It helps alot when you win 4 buyins in an hour at one table. So i decided to play a 100NL table and one 50NL, well of course a ways in i run into a fish who gets lucky on me calling a big reraise with AJ off and catching 2 pair vs my kk, buddy listed that fishy, and then on a table that got short handed, had the king high flush draw with a low pair and raised the guy all in and he calls with his pair of aces and it holds. So ended being up 75 and right at 2k......hopefully better luck at the 100's today.

Monday, May 22nd:




Well as fast as i got to 2k is as fast as i went back down, i proceeded to lose 2 buy ins with some bad luck and card dead fun. So now i will probably split some 50 and 100 tables until i get back over the hump. Today i won a couple big hands and still feel like i played like crap on other hands, made some bad calls, and got in tough situations, although i was still up 80, so i shouldnt complain. Hopefully i play better later.

Friday, May 26th:


I see the interest in this journal is too much to handle, but its for my own good anyway. This week has kind of been a slow one. Pretty much even hovering at the same spot. I finally took out all the money I ever put into poker which was $300 because i need it. So now I have to build the roll back up to 2k. Damn bills can kiss my ass. Keep churningg

Wednesday June 7th:


Well I hit up Turning Stone while I was in the area last weekend and it did me good. Played for about 2 and a half hours and was up $140 at the 200 max 1/2 blinds. Basically won all my money from one calling station and a kid who went all in in front of me $40 when i had JJ, decided to call as did calling station, flop comes J A 5, calling station checks and i bet $50 into the $130 pot or so. Calling station folds (which turns out to be a miracle because 7 8 were the turn and river. Of course what did calling station calll a $40 pre flop bet with??? None other than 4 6o. I would of been throwin crap if that cracker stayed all in. Anyway guy that went all in had KQ and didnt hit. Won another hand with KK few raises in front, i jack it up to 35, calling station in every else folds, flop comes with an A of course, i throw out a bet and he folds. Had a miracle fold 2nd hand of the night, 55 dealt to me and someone jacks it to $15 and i decide to fold pre flop, well here comes the 5 on the flop and im cursin, until the raisor shows his 88 after which and 8 was on the flop as well. Thankkk you god.


Back to party poker and the crap luck just keeps coming. Out kicked and out drawn, I decide to deposit $500 into doyles room. I figured I might as well bonus whore it and try other sites. So far it seems ok, alot of low stacks on the tables, and kind of hard to get on full ring tables but we'll see how it goes. Bankroll at a little over $1300. Need to get on a roll.

Wednesday, June 21st:




Its been awhile since i posted and not much has really changed. Although im up a bit from the last time i posted. It seems as though im just hovering at even though. I guess winning little by little. Still getting sucked out like crazy at times. Been doing better on Party Poker then i have at Doyles Room. All the little short stack donks have been hitting there draws on me. Hopefully that will change here soon. Moved back home this past weekend so hopefully my concentration will be better. But less time to play on weekends with going to see the girl friend and all, and gotta get a job, probably landscaping. Some long days, I hope i get to play alot still. We'll See

when you said landscaping somehow i read lapdances.

Wednesday, July 5th:


So I actually can win at poker i see. This week i have finally started taking off a little bit, generally at the 100NL level. Playing 3 tables of 50nl, and 1 table of 100nl the last few nights on party poker. Jumped the bankroll from about 1400 to 1850 in that time. Hopefully I can keep it going right past 2k and move up to 100nl once and for all. I think i just might be ready now, tweeking the game some and tightening myself up from the blinds and less hands in EP. Hope i can keep movin up instead of churning in the same sand that ive been in. Im going to post my stats at the end of July and see how they get critiqued, and what i need to fix

Thursday, July 13th:



It has been a good week since my last post. I have continued to do well at 100NL and think im there for good now. Jumped the bankroll up to $2350 now. I think that puts me up about $1100 for this month so far. A $150 dollar bonus is in that total as well that i cleared this week, Thanks Party poker. Only bad part of this week was when i signed on doyles room which i havent played much of lately and triied doing the 100 tables there and lost 3 buy ins in 30 mins. So I withdrew my money out of the site except for 6 dollars which i turned into 15 just dicking around at the micro limits. But i took out 480 and put it into Bodog, to see if i can win in kennys land. I just think at doyles its too much variance and playing at the 100 tables there is too much , by having some all in situation with flush draws and they catch on you, just gets old. Figure id try the idiots at bodog. Tried an hour there today and got setted over, and caught my boat on the turn which was lower than the flopped boat. So not a good start, but party poker is rollin. I need to study hands a little more here at the forum so i stay sharp. This is my best run ever so far and i hope it continues for awhile, i know that bad streak will come soon enough. hopefully not though
