Back in the win column (if only marginally) yesterday. I was down a buy-in and a half at B2B nl50e against short stack idiots pushind all in with QJ pf and the like, and hitting. Of course, I was calling with hands like 99, knowing full well that I was facing two overs and was getting the best of a crooked coinflip (cuz no way does one of these shorties play a big PP that way). Lost 3 crooked coinflips vs. shorties. Down 1.5 buy-ins. I'll take that gamble every time though. Also down a few bucks at the 2/4 FR LHE games at B2B, but knocking out those VIP so i can get my 650e bonus.

Afternoon session found me at Prima, where I continue to molest the nl100 FR competition. Up a stack and a half through solid poker, nothing notable, except I did lose a $60 pot when I flopped a set of jacks on a coordinated board and villian shortie shoved. I probably should have dumped it, but meh. He flopped the straight, board did not pair, shortie doubles up and leaves. Gotta love that.

Up $41 on the day. Today is looking up, already 34e to the good after one orbit of 2/4 SHLHE. Report to follow tomorrow, then it is off to Reno to meet up with a couple of BTP degenerates and donk up the 4/8 LHE kill games and maybe play some NLHE and a tourney or two.

Yeah I was buying in for 200 at the nl500 game at Circus. There were 5 others at the table, and 200 was sufficient to cover all but one that had 700 or so.

I got the car fixed, paying Truckee Saturday gotchabytheballs rates. Total damage was $1300, but everything in the brake system was replaced with the exception of the master cylinder and the steel brake lines. And they got it done on a saturday. My sister lives a bit outside of town to the north where there is no cell reception, then my phone died on the way down the hill. I have been trying really hard to forget about this weekend with out resorting to excessive alcohol consumption. It isn't working.

We'll have to hook up another time. Maybe Garden City?

Well, yesterday was probably the biggest rollercoaster session I have ever put in. Down 91e at b2b 2/4 SHLHE. Up 186 GBP at crypto 3/6 GBP LHE. Down 2 buy-ins at prima nl100 (and down 4 buy-ins for the weekend - worst nl downswing I have ever had in my vast month of playing experience there ). Down a few bucks at Full TIlt 3/6 LHE. Up 70 at Full Tilt 3/6 LO8. 0 for 2 at SNGs. According to my math, I ended the day up $55.

Emma got me a Barnes and Noble gift certificate for father's day, so I went out and picked up HoH3. I now have a considerable amount of unread poker reading material.

I will work on more b2b bonus today and perhaps Full Tilt tonight. I am still running at 5.5 bb/100 at LO8, just waiting for my massive cooler at that game.

Last night I got rocked at the 5/10 LHE tables -30bb. LO8 was not much better, -77. Total on the day, -365. Which wipes out a $400 casino score. I also cleared about $100 worth of bonus playing poker, so I have definately had worse days, and I did make back some money busting short stacks at Full Tilt nl100. All in all a pretty meh day. And Emma is feverish. Meh.

On a happy non-poker note, I have tickets to this Sunday's NASCAR race at Sears Point in Sonoma. One of the two times this year that the stock cars will be required to make right hand turns. I have my usual seats, in the shade start/finish line grandstands:
