Ok, many of you who came from the "other" site, are already familiar with this person.

But for those who are not, here goes:


NGJS (what I call him, to totally protect his privacy) has made millions from poker. I started teaching him, back in 1994. He was already good, I just made him better.

He recently told me, that I helped him more than anyone . . . . . . . . . .


Ok, so that doesn't sound very impressive, until you know this.


Most of the famous people you see of TV, know NGJS. Many, do business with him.

Heck, some are his NEIGHBORS!! He's friends with ROY COOKE.


You all would just NOT believe me, if I told you all the players he knows, so I won't bother.

And yet, WHO TAUGHT HIM MORE

Anyway, I'm certainly not claiming to be the main reason for his success, just that I was a part of it.


Ok, now he has something, that none of you have, that's helped him. Don't worry though, this just means that you probably can't make as much as he did, not that you can't make good money:

A biolocial anomaly that permits him to go and go and go, with little, or NO sleep.


He will play forever, if that's what it takes to win He workes VERY hard, and pays CLOSE attention.

He follows his rules, TO THE LETTER, as has NEVER, ever (and I mean never) Gone on tilt.

He picks his games, VERY carefully. Kinda like a shark, searching for wounded fish that make for eazy pickin's

And, most importantly:

He never, NEVER plays above his bankroll.


This guy, started out with a 10,000 big bet bankroll Oh, yeah, I'm sure you've heard that it only takes 300bb to play a game, that's wrong by the way.


He could have been playing 500-1000 with that much, but steadily made a six-figure living, playing 20-40 through 75-150, before eventually settling in on 150-300

Now, with the money he has, that is a BABY game, but enough to make at least a half mil a year.

He never plays in a game, where the stakes make him uncomfortable.

Also, he learned ALL games, and plays them well

(something I'd like my readers to do, don't try to "specialize" on any one game)


Bottom line: THE GUY WORKS!! He follows RULES and GUIDELINES, to the letter.

And, he doesn't blow his money.

Oh how true. What good is it to win $250 playing a $50+5 SnG only to turn around and give it back playing a $2/$4 NLHE ring.

Kowboy was good at that. Now if I want to play a ring game you will find me playing low and I mean low limit O8.

I also agree that you need to learn to play all games driving home your point to play the limits you are comfortable with. I play NL rings for up to $50 buy ins because I can beat the fish in that game. I can even beat the $100 buy in but most of the time only break even. $200 buy in I lose more then I win. Give me a MTT or SNG and show me the money!

Why the hole in my ring game I am not sure. Maybe because I have spent so much time playing SnG's they just carried over to my MTT play and not my ring play.
