Played live saturday night - won a sng for short cash with some of the wifes family

sunday - fired off 2.5 buy ins in like 300 hands...had a set in a raised pot where some idiot called my all in with 66 (flop was 752, i had 22) and made a running straight. then had AA, flop comes K77 and got it all in only to lose to K10 when the river was a K. Im fine with running cards and 2/3 outers. I had been running sweet for a long time before that. Played a bit last night and made a buy in and a half back, so net is like down $200 from my high, still +$3900 for the month...

havent played or posted much bc I just got out of an annual review presentation to my largest customer. Was working on the presentation, thinking/worrying about it for a few days now, so I'm fuggin happy thats over. NH.

So events have conspired to cause me to take a poker break these last few days...didnt play wednesday because I had a wrok function, didnt play last night because I was attending a wedding (Yes a Thursday night wedding, never heard of such a thing), will likely play some tonight, but tomorrow will be off as well most likely. I am playing in a 70 man tourney at the home of Ralph PEccorale, who won the 2005 US Poker Championships in AC (airing on ESPN on Tuesday nights - where he took hme about a million bucks). SO that should be interesting and a good practice run for the wsop. Apparently the buy in is high enough to attract some quality players...will post a report sunday..
