Double-bet fourth always. At these levels, you'll usually get someone to chase you for a couple of streets anyway.

Yeah, I'd give him another card on 5th. Given what they're showing I'm also happy with the $1 in on 4th.

does the "double bet fourth" comment refer to being the 4th person in on 3rd street and completing the small bet, or does it refer to 4th street. i think the former, but i'm not sure.

I was very rude of me not to answer your first question, but to my embarrasment I didn't quite understand it. Sometimes I understand English sooooo good

I play 7CS on all major sites and only Poker Room skins don't seem to allow the 4th street double bet, which is just stupid. It's an important part of the game. It's like preventing check-raising. It makes no sense.

Don't agree with Monk. Double-bet it. A double bet isn't going to chase away most people at this level who would call a single bet. But while a single bet would give some correct pot odds to call if they were chasing a straight or something, a double bet would make their call incorrect.

Checking it is absolutely out of the question. The absolute last thing you want to do on fourth street is give someone a free card and let them make a hand or even a strong draw. You've played 1/2 7CS enough to know that trips are extremely vulnerable to flushes and weird straights. Don't give them a chance to catch up.
