AP 3 hour session another $70 to the bankroll. Played some good solid tight poker and made all the right plays. Some people on this site will not let go of top pair even if im playing as AA, KK. Fortunately all the times i did this i did have AA, KK and took alot of chips off other players.

Nothing else really of note im just playing standard ABC poker at NL25 & NL50 and it is paying off. It is going to plan at the moment and i will try stick to the 3 sites WPEX,AP and Party for the time being

Hey peoples, if anyone caught the australia v japan game it was awesome especially if you are around 30-40 of your best mates and people you know. There were crazy scenes after we were down 1-0 after a dubious free kick then went on to kick 3 goals all in the last ten minutes!!!

Poker news well havent really been keeping track properly but i think ive made another $50 odd bucks since that last post. I stacked a guy earlier when he flopped a FH with 5,4 with the flop coming out 5,4,4

Unfortunately for him he slowplayed and my 99 hit a set on the turn. Of course he donated the rest of his chips on that one.

Poker has been going quite well and i dont think ive booked a losing day this month probably up around $300 i think.

Might check out these slots and blackjack i hear all these guys are talkin about i could use another pump up to my roll.

Another Day another dollar.

Just been making $30-$50 each day this month for just about the whole month. Its about time i had some stability in my poker life and finally it seems i have it.

Im going to keep posting as though my roll is what it would be if it was all still online as i still have access to it just have no need to keep it sitting in some neteller account.

Anyway drum roll the grand total is $3475 which aint all that shabby really considering the lack of effort i put into keeping track of hands and analysing my play.

I stacked a guy last night who thought his KK might beat my AA preflop and also another who hit a flush on the turn as my set also turned into a FH for a pretty good $45 profit for the evening.

I think for now im happy to stay at this pace until i have the balls to try hit up B2B again. There is money aplenty out there that you can get your hands on without really having to risk a whole heap of cash for, and i guess my main aim is just to eventually start playing alot better and moving up to playing NL100-NL200 on a consistently winning basis.

Anyway better get back to work godamm im tired all this soccer viewing is killing me! Go Aussies!!!!

Sorry for no update lately ive been busy losing around $200-$250 dollars over the past few days which just about fks up all my hard work from the last week and a half i reckon

I decided to hit Stars and try play some higher limits and well i just got beaten down pretty badly. Few suckouts few tilty plays and sure enough i got screwed. So the plan is to get back to my low variance poker i was playing before this hiccup.

I guess it cant hurt to have a crack at a higher limit and well why not. The aussies got beaten by Brazil the other night but ah well they are the best team in the world. I am more concerned with the fact i had to stay up till 4am wathcing it then head into work!

This sleep factor might have something to do with my play over the last few days as well

Sorry again about the lack of journal entries here i dont really get the time or effort to post much these days but i am always checking the boards for some new advice or talking to the dudes on IRC

So anyways poker and well now Blackjack and maybe soon to be slots.....

I had that mini losing streak where i probably dropped somewhere in the vicinity of $200 which aint that bad but enough to shit you!!

So i decided back to bonus whoring and hit Star Luck and Planet Luck Casino along with some tribeca skin called Paddy Poker and im working through them so far

still getting through the others but im ahead at both so things are looking good. I have been more tired this last few weeks than ever in my life. This world cup of soccer is killing me as the Aussies somehow are still in it and well all the games are on fkn late.

So work poker girlfriend soccer and playing bball are all taking their toll and i feel like a zombie most days lately.

I really long for the day i can sit on my arse and play sports etc all day or poker and not have to go 2 work! ahhh such is life.

Time for an update

Well things have been motoring along quite nicely really. I have played 1500 VIP at B2B and am thinking about calling it quits there for the moment and i will just collect the 200 euro bonus there. I still managed to end up 100 down so 200+ isnt to bad for a week's work for me in poker

I have been playing a fair bit at stars also and some of the players there are just horrendous!

I have had people suckout and also donk off their stacks to me all over the joint. Managing to run ok there at the moment.

The roll is close to around 4k now which is pretty damn good i suppose but i really want to find a good solid site for NL 50 and i will try and start churning out some nice figures.

For the first time in my poker career i actually feel extrememly confident i can win consistently at NL and with rakeback i could really make some profits at a good site. Obviously b2b is not the answer but if stars had rakeback i would be in heaven!!!

Also played a $33 tourney at Party which i finished 65/260 when my KK was busted by JT

Meh! just wanted to have a crack at some big money.

Things have been going pretty well for me lately been playing mainly at Stars and have won a few 100 dollars just from general play in the last few days and im really happy with my game at the moment.

I have made alot of good calls on the river where the villian has been bluffing, making plenty of good slowplays when i need to and just feel more confident than i think i ever have.

Im gonna try going on a real big run to pump up this bankroll of mine and start playing some higher limits. I dont know how high i can go but i definetely want to find out. Im getting excited about playing again and i havent really had that for a few months
and finding i really love the competition again.

I cant remember actually enjoying my poker more than i do right now and like i used to think of it as a chore now my mindset is more like this is a strategy game where i will get paid the better i get at it!

Well in career best touch at the moment and it keeps going. I deposited at Stars whenever the last bonus came out and left it for awhile and ended up losing $100 or so there that was a month ago. In the last week i have played heaps there and worked that $400 into $900 with the bonus still to come after another 60 FPP

Its just been standard ABC poker on the .5/1 6 Max NL tables there. It seems everyone at this site will pay you off and any 4-5 x bb raises u make PF dont seem to scare anyone.

I can see why there is such a huge pokerstars player base now with great software and plenty of soft games. Shame about no big bonuses or rakeback though.

Anyway well i still have to wait for a B2B bonus to come through but i am actually over 4.5k now!!

This has happened extremely fast and if this trend continues at pokerstars i might just have a crack at a higher limit at least just to take a look at the play.

Its funny i just spent a good 10-15 minutes reading through this thing and i can see how much of a donk i was when i started. In close to a year i have come along way alot has to do with advice from this place so cheers!!

Im setting myself the goal of breaking 5k and hopefully even 6k by the end of August.
Like ive said in other posts im really starting to love poker more than ever and even when i make a bad play or get sucked out on i am usually now just more amused than angry and violent. I think i am comfortable with losing $50 stacks so why not make it $100 soon. Time will tell.

Will keep this thing updated as much as i can and will definetely be fkn happy if i can break that 5k barrier sometime soon.

Well poker has continued to be pretty good to me although earlier in the week i did drop around $150 in the one session

Tonight i won $100 or so though and well over the last week i am up around $450 odd dollars so i better not complain.

I also used some of those ARP from Absolute Poker to try my luck to get into the 100k qualifier next week. About 30 peeps in the tourney and top 2 get through, i made it and am now enrolled for next week. Will be my first moderately big tourney so here goes nothing! The only other thing is that its at 5am my time!! Fark!

Yeah so pretty happy with things i guess been playing at Hollywood Poker at the moment clearing the $200 BW bonus going on there at the moment.

Time for an update, same old stuff going on with me these days.

Lately alot of my time is getting filled up with school,girlfriend,work etc and so dont have much time to get in for poker. Then again i still have been managing around 15-20 hours per week.

The poker world for the most part has been treating me good. I am about 400 points into 1000 at Hollywood Poker and i am up around $270 dollars there.

I have just been 3 tabling the NL100 tables there shortstacked on each one and its a strategy that seems to be working.

Well it cant all be bad news i got up at 6:30am on Sunday to play in AP's 100k tourney my first big one and i must say i played as good as i have in a MTT. I didnt play any other tables and put all my energy into this one. 400 players started and i was sitting as an above average stack with around 200 players left when i picked up KK in LP.

Another player had minraised from UTG with a quite large stack and it folded around to me and i bet out maybe another 5x the bb

Well been trying to get in as many hours as possible lately

Ive been doing this around organising my girlfriends 21st birthday, doing my schoolwork and working full time so sleep hasnt been had much this last week or so

Pokerwise i saw in Roys journal i think that the rebuy tourneys are good value and decided to play in a $3 rebuy on stars to get into the sunday million tourney.

It paid off with me winning the entry and only rebuying once at the start and using the addon after 30 minutes.

I also had been carving up the tables at Hollywood poker until earlier where i dropped around 100-150 acting like a dickhead.

Did i also mention i busted out of that Sunday tourney on Absolute after making close to no mistakes the whole way through. Just unlucky when KK went down to QQ. I heard once on some poker site Raymer was interviewed after the WSOP and he said he is happy was long as he is getting his money in with the best of it, i must say i try to follow this exact same approach as i was clearly screwed but wat can u do.
